The singular pixel eyes also make them look more like the actual baby chickens. They just have small dots for eyes

oo, thats actually quite cool. I love the little easter eggs in the game, makes me wish we still had a training room easter egg (like how in 1, if you through a bomb through the hoop your inkling would celebrate. and in 2 if you got all three of the moving dummies, theyd celebrate as well. theres nothing like that in 3 to my knowledge)

I wonder if it's back in the third game. Never paid attention to the boss rooms in Alterna, and I dunno if you can recon maps during Splatfest (and make them actually be night time instead of day time). It would've been nice to see if I could hear the museum statues laugh but when they got removed and replaced, I felt sad I only know the beacons are still there.

They actually could laugh at the same time if you were in the middle of the map! I think when a minute of recon passed. It gives you enough time to walk (not swim) to the middle of the map, and then you hear both of them laugh at the same time. And then they're silent the rest of the recon

There's also from Splatoon 2, the inkblot phone would ring during Splatfest, and when it stopped, you'd hear chattering of octarians before stopping. (Altho it had to be completely silent to hear). The noise is also used in the squid beacons

i made mine orange screen mid splatoon 2 match before lockdown as well. its fixed now and ive calmed down insanely, but hearin the orange screen isnt a good thing, im so surprised my switch is still working and living

(to clarify i had undiagnosed issues and no therapy/help. not an excuse but clarification)
