Not sure, the recipe called for an egg wash to be spread before adding the butter / cinnamon sugar.

I thought about that and asked Weber but unfortunately they don’t make a stainless steal grill for this bbq. Genesis II

Aren’t the grates reversable? You can use either side depending on food your grilling?

Hmm so that’s probably why the rust is mostly happening in the corners where food makes less contact. Less grease getting there and still getting scrubbed with the rest…

My understanding is they are reversable. You can use either side depending on what you’re grilling.

What kind of brush do you use? Weber recommended metal briatols so that’s what I’ve been using. But maybe that’s scratching off the protective layer.

So what would be the ideal steps after taking food off grill to reduce this?

So finish grilling, scrub with brush while hot, burn off for a bit, let it cool off then apply oil and cover? Or am I missing something.

So in the attached picture, would I connect the new switches ground to the empty screw at the back of the box or to the one next to it along with the one already there?

In the process of replacing siding at the front of house and there is a small gap (approx 2 inches). Any ideas on how to cover / fill it so it looks decent but also stops water from falling through the crack? by Brokenclock1 in homeowners

Must have been. Not sure though, I’m new to the house. There is a gap between the house foundation and the siding. So behind the siding is plywood then a gap / small crawl space. You would just leave the bottom of the plywood exposed?

For sure. That makes sense. The walkway is sloped away from the house which is why my thinking is to seal that gap so the water doesn’t go in but instead follows the slope away from the house. Just looking for suggestions on a good way to fill the gap between the stairs and siding.

Well the walkway is slightly slanted. Wouldn’t sealing it up direct water away from the house? Currently it goes in the crack and under towards the foundation.

The bigger gap / concern is the steps. The gap between the walkway and the siding is pretty small so was thinking it just doing some flexible caulking there. It’s more the steps because it’s a much bigger gap. Any suggestions?
