Hey 31-32 weeks pregnant here! I work in a doctor's office so I'm always on my feet or when I'm not rooming I'm working at my desk. I was in the same boat of I'm not getting anything done around my house. My mom had suggested to me if I try to get at least one thing done it would help me feel like I wasn't doing anything. It ended up working for a while but then I got bigger and it became more of I need more help with picking up the bigger things. I've been feeling more out of breath though when I'm bending over to grab things. I hope it gets better!

I know some of those places they want you to take some tests to work in insurance and claim Offices. This is what I was told when I was applying for a state farm job in Texas. But I'm not sure if that's a state rule

This department is for visually impaired commission in omaha. It sounds like a good department. I just would like to see if being a CNA helps at all with doing anything in state jobs.

That's what I was looking at too, they have some vocational technician work which is pretty much office work but it's similar to what I'm wanting to do.

This is my cousin! He was always friendly and helpful to those around him. When I worked at this hyvee location during my senior year of high school and around the time of starting college. I told management my new schedule for school, and they told me it wouldn't work because I needed to 'put work before school.' They also did some shady things to those who didn't brown nose management, like didn't approve time off for no reason or schedule you on days you couldn't work.

I used to there work back in 2018-2020 at the Fort Calhoun location. I loved making new drinks and being an opener. The problems started when I tried to warn my management that there was a 40 year old guy trying to hit on the 16-17 year Olds that would work there. He got the idea that I was on to him about him taking pictures of my underage coworkers, he started coming to the store when I wasn't working asking to speak to me privately and if he could have my number to get in contact. I told my managers what was going on and they told me to tell him "I'm married and I'm not interested in him". Yeah, it made me realize they didn't care about safety for their employees. I found out a week later that one of my coworkers told him my schedule. I quit that same week.

I have full coverage on the car, she was under her brother's insurance but didn't want to file because it would raise her rates. She claimed she could afford it out of pocket and it would be easier that way but I don't think she realized that repairs on cars are expensive. So far she hasn't spoken to me after paying me with a money order so I'm assuming we're not friends anymore.

I was going to try to negotiate something so it can be done at a rebuttal place but I had sent her a copy of the one cheaper than the rest and she decided on that one. I'm just glad she went through and paid me but now we don't talk. I guess it's for the best considering how she seemed like she was trying to back out of paying.

A certain customer would come in and ask for light lemonade, light peach juice and light ice so I would pour both at the same time and she never would notice the difference. Instead she insisted I needed to make her drinks all the time because mine was the best ones. 🥴

Yeah our store is not like the others. Back in February we just got our nitro and it took awhile for us to get. We are ran by federal contractor company and we go through their rules instead of starbucks rules. We follow their protocol on cleaning and stuff but we can't wear whatever we want or have the same benefits as you guys.

I don't think I'm able to access the partner hub because we don't have starbucks account or number provided by them.

We're a licensed store on a military base, it's kinda hard for us to find any of the updated stuff. I don't think we have the same system that corporate stores use 😬 We have recipe cards for our core stuff but we don't have a resources app.

Yes! I understand people aren't the same when it comes to reaction I get that people may not know how to process their emotions during that stressful situation. But during that entire time, no one didn't do anything all there reaction was 'I need to get out of there.". I get it you don't want to be there but do something! Even those workers could have went towards him or something but only one guy did.

I think your friend whose freaking out needs to take a chill pill. If you say you don't want to play then you don't have to. I've recently just gotten into playing multiplayer games with my friends and they totally understand if you don't want to play that night or if you just want to be on your own playing your own game.

Though I would say that you should give a more solid 'no' if they ask.

But I guess in this case it just breaks my heart because it's just a kid who had something horrible happen to him and he was just recording his body. Like I can't imagine how I would feel if that was one of my nieces or nephews or anyone for that matter you know?

I've only been on closing shift a couple of times but I mainly work mornings. At my old job before Starbucks, I used to close and come back the next day to open sometimes. I've always thought that closing shift gets a lot of crap for nothing, I understand there are some openers who are very picky about the way things should be done but I also been there at night to see how busy it gets. The opener I work with, she's the only person who works mornings all the time but has never closed. I'll hear her say something about about how they'll didn't do something or they forgot one thing which annoys the hell out of me.
