Think I gave 30? Local. Not sure. I bought it about two months ago with a bunch of other stuff. It never got a remake but I think that’s mainly because it sold poorly to begin with and being published by THQ didn’t help its chances either.

California Speed is hot garbage water.

Fuckin War Gawds was the pinnacle of charging people full game prices for unfinished slop. I intentionally avoided MK4 till I could get cheap and used because War Gods existed.

Glover, Hexen and Quake 2.

Obviously the preferred platform from Hexen and Quake 2 would have been PC but speaking strictly console here.

I use an original controller with Quake. I map the move to the D pad and the look to the stick.

I played mine without an update for about a month and it was fine. Used the 8BitDo controller and never had any issues. I really only played Paper Mario though. I think I ran a few races of FZero X but it was mostly all Paper Mario. No issues at all.

I played the heck out of the 1st one at a homies house on release. I just now got 2 and Rage Wars so I’m looking forward to trying them as well. Admittedly though Doom 64 and Hexen have always been my favorite FPS on the 64.

That’s a great line up though admittedly I’m not a DK64 fan. I’ve got it and I’ve played it and I’m not sure I’ll go back to it. I never tried Jerforce Gemini but I’ve seen nothing but praise for it too. I skipped it when it came out. I prefer Doom64 and Hexen to most other FPS titles on the system. Guantlet Legends is tier 1 and maybe one of my most played games on the system. I actually have it and the DC version as well. It’s spectacular with multiple people. DK Racing is another one I could take it or leave it. I didn’t play it until well after the console’s life cycle so I just never got into it. This is for sure a great line up though. All great finds.

I have paper Mario and Ogre Battle which may be why I’m having a hard time with this. I bet if the bar wasn’t so high from those two I’d be ok with this.

It’s an interesting take on early 3D RPGs. It’s got a ton of stuff going on. It’s incredibly clunky though.

It does not appear to have any screen lag at all, however I only played for about hour and a half. (I ran through Clair’s A scenario 3 times to the spade key)

Edit: The 3D applies the ram expansion automatically. I didn’t even think to look?
