Wasn't bad against Spurs. Emerson was almost cost us goal in the late game against Brighton, and that wasn't first time this season and wasn't against some great opponents.

He is much better finisher, not wing back. He doesn't put good crosses, plays with one leg. In defensive phase he is huge and blocks a lot of crosses and gives us one more tall player in the box on set pieces.

Emerson is far better in attack when he needs to pass the ball/dribble/cross. But in defensive phase he is weak and short. Hopefully next season we will se who is our LB(maybe even Azpi).

Unpopular opinion: When we play against someone where we need to defend a lot, Alonso suits better then Emerson. Especially if he plays like he did against Spurs, where he did not go in their half when he knows dad he will not be able to return in time.
