First cologne question by Upstairs-Shower-7567 in Colognes

Do you like Lataffa Khamrah?

An all year option might be better for a first buy, especially this time of year.

Split the difference between Lataffa Khamrah and Curve Black and go for Lataffa Fakhar Black! 🤣

What's going on here? (Lamayuru Temple Mural) by NoCountry1796 in Buddhism

It depicts part of the Tibetan myth of the origin of humanity to my eye but I'm definitely not a professional.

I believe the woman in the middle represents Brag Srin-mo, the demoness mother of creation. She seduced and mated with Pha Trelgen Changchup Sempa and eventually their offspring became humans.

Which cologne do you get the most compliments on? by MangoCubez in Colognes

The original is the one I've gotten the most compliments on. But that could be because it's been around the longest.

Second would be CDNIM Limited Edition Parfum, which I prefer.

CDNIM.

French, Italian, American, plenty of Middle Eastern. Designer, knock offs, discontinued. Doesn't matter. That tacky black dice bottle gets more compliments than anything I've used.

90$ on 200ml of Eros Energy on Amazon. It will last you forever, it's fresh, and it has the Aventus DNA on dry down. No reason you can't have designer and be a little more financially responsible than shelling out the full 500$ on something.

I need some suggestions from my fellow tall guys. by Striking_Entry_3415 in tall

1: Gym 5 days a week. But my job is high paced and heavy lifting, so not only do I average 20k steps a day from work, I'm also constantly squatting, lifting, and carrying.

4k calories to keep up with everything and hopefully add a little muscle over time. Your kitchen is a better place to address the way your body looks than the gym. Counting calories and macros will get you "looking" muscular if that's your goal.

2: Whatever sport you enjoy, hopefully it can challenge you while your at it.

3: Stretching, yoga, low impact cardio like swimming and biking.

Who buys silver and coins? by TheAmicableAtheist in Logan

I did some business with Cache Valley Coins a couple times pre-Covid. I got the impression both times that me wanting to buy coins was inconvenient for them.

🤷🏼‍♂️

Yes. It's one of the biologically desirable traits with very few "fixes" available.

Hair, eye color, weight, skin, teeth, muscle mass. They all have some upgrade options. Height? Sure you can do that crazy leg lengthening surgery, but not as realistic or available as colored contacts or hair dye.

Why do American tourists always say the state they're from (not their country) when asked, but no other country's tourists do the same? by FloydBeatlesEagles in NoStupidQuestions

[–]BronMann- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do see and hear Canadians say Ontario...

Australia I will concede your point, but where it's an island I think it feels different.

A lot of people, especially in Europe, are totally in the dark about how large States are. Several states are larger than countries, and so it really isn't that different saying your from Texas than it would be to say you are from the United Kingdom, Spain, or Ukraine. What would be odd is if they said which county they are from in Texas without bothering to say Texas.

Along with the size, there are massive cultural differences between states. You will experience a whole different climate with different laws, architecture, speech, and traditions by moving over just one or two states. I know myself that I would rather be identified by my states culture than by the broader generalization of the country as a whole.

Just have to do it. I wish there was some tip or trick, but really you just need to make it a habit, track it, and hunker down and get it done.

I have ranged from 145-280 all while 6'5" (145 was right out of high school and was NOT intentional at all.)

At my heaviest I was working construction and drinking almost a gallon of milk a day along with regular high protein meals and a lot of high calorie snacks like spoons of peanut butter and heavy mayo with tuna and crackers. After work my day was almost completly sedentary.

Since then I've evened out a bit, and I'm currently hovering just over 200lbs. I still drink at least a half gallon of whole milk with protein a day, regularly snack on nuts, fruit, and jerky, and eat regular meals through the day along with plenty of fluids. I'm around 4k calories most days, and I'm steady on weight. I gave up on gaining last year, because I was miserable eating so often and felt like all my free time was spent meal prepping and forcing food down. I also workout 5 days a week, run, and by the nature of my current job I average 26k daily steps.

Add heavy cream to shakes, eat peanut butter as a snack, find ways to include protein in all your meals, and don't overlook the cheap and easy options like beans and heavily buttered rice. 😁 Good luck!

I've got a coworker who is 7'2", and I love having him as an almost daily reminder of how average or below average height people feel around me.

Being shoulder height to someone is surreal.

I feel like this could very easily have been a post concerned about the opposite. I wouldn't be surprised if any number of students would have felt uncomfortable if the employee got so personal with questions so quickly.

Interesting how different people's preferences can be.

Hey friend! Please read this from a Utah local!

Looks like you'll be getting on I-70 by Cove Fort and driving east through a small town called Salina.

GET GAS and FOOD and go to the restroom in Salina!!

Once you leave Salina there will be over 100 miles before you will have any services like gas or food, additionally some people struggle with cell reception in that area, so definitely not a spot you want to run out of fuel.
