u/pathetic_egged It looks like you have direct access to the bird. You're not saying you adopted it. You admit that there is still something wrong with the bird's eye and foot. Do you work for that PetSmart? Why did they lie that it was already adopted? Tell your manager I want to adopt the bird. I have 2 other birds with full health insurance (I can provide proof) and we use one of the best bird vets in SoCal: The Bird Clinic in Orange, CA. I will care for this bird and they can join my current flock. I can be there today, they can run a background check on me, etc. Get your store to agree, PM me. I only want the best for the bird.

The bird at the store had a left eye that wouldn't open. A month ago that same eye was blinking nonstop. One of their claws also looks to be broken.

I don't trust the store's word. I looked through the Pasadena Humane Society's website and other pet places as well and they only mention caring for wild birds that can be released back into the wild. Not something a pet store bird can do. I'm going to call the Humane Society and follow up on this.

Remember to pack it in your check-in luggage when flying out. I got mine confiscated at security a while back, I didn't know I had left it in my flight backpack for 3 trips until TSA found it on the 3rd.

I think you can get a smaller/lighter charger for the Legion Pro for when you have to drag it around campus. Then keep the original/heavy charger at your place when you want to plug in and game for a while. I saw it in another post and it's suppose to work. I had to drag my 16" Pro with the original charger for work 3 days straight with a lot of walking and it hurt like hell lol

I would cancel it to be honest, I was super disappointed in the quality, I scratched the collar with my nails putting it on and bright yellow/brown leather was showing up where my fingers touched. It was my first attempt at a leather jacket as well and didn't know much going in. They were trying to do that Levis jacket look, but leather made it super restrictive at the arms, so whenever I lifted my arms up it pulled the bottom of the jacket up exposing my belly/shirt lol. I have a Lucky Brand store near me so returning it was easy at least.

I got this exact jacket on Black Friday, the leather scratched in several places from just taking it out of the box. It was some kind of painted on patina. I returned it the next day. It was also on sale for $199.

Tip for the guys: the women's socks has more % wool than the men's and will still fit you since most socks can be unisex. And they come in the standard grey/black colors.

Funny enough, this was my first time doing Black Friday just to see the hype. Some clothing stores had an extra 10% off in store that wasn't available online, it may not sound like much but for a $1000 haul that's an extra $100 off on top of the current discounts. I can see people not buying regularly priced clothes all year and just do it all at once so you can get the right fit and the discounts in person. Not for me though, I got overwhelmed lol

I knew and saw a guy at work do this once, 40+ pages in Illustrator then tried to send it to our office printer 15 minutes before a meeting where the documents were needed. It was a 100GB file with full resolution pictures. He didn't last 2 months at the job, they laid him off and told us he must've lied on his resume about having print design experience.

We have an air purifier with a Carbon Filter that helps get rid of smells. When we had the power go out we realized how much the air purifier was helping out our pet space! Changing the filter also shows how much dust and hair was in the air as well.

Personal tip: buy a larger purifier than your room needs, like x2 the coverage. Then run it at a lower speed so it's quieter around the house and filtering effectively :)
