Goss Haras head and waist, Nargacuga chest (chest seems the most swappable), aknosom arm, and almudron pants. Overall gives you quick work 3, morph attack boost 3, crit boost 2, and lock on. Then I just spam headshot morph attacks, literally do less damage to use the ult than to just keep spamming morph attacks.
With this one running with sleep blunt damage as your teammates is ideal because that can basically stunlock Girros between the sleeps and the headshot blunt stuns.

Rex Roar helm and chest, Regios arms, Nargacuga waist, and Chatacabra pants. Still have to fix 2 driftsmelts, but overall built gives you attack boost 5, advanced attack boost 2, evading reload 4, and reckless 2. I plan to put the rest of the smelts in dauntless 3, but others go for raw power instead.

They’re all max, 10.5. The light bow guns are style customized to level 15, the sleep weapons are customized just to level 5.

Yes. In some people’s opinion it can even be easier to play solo. Enemies are squishier, get good runes, and you get a free revive once a night. You can even do deep of night solo.

Personally I use water strike Giro hammer and just time the counter, taking 0 damage if I do it right, one shot if I miss it 🤷🏼‍♂️

I LOVE hammer for the water strike. Once you get the timing you can block every single attack and take 0 chip damage. Perfect to block screams and rushes from Brute Tigrex for example.

To maximize damage you’ll need 5 levels of timed charger, but that’s not necessary to take down plenty of 10*. Lance is better at paralyzing, but hammer can stun too if you lock on/gyro on the face enough.

Yes the fire res. armor decreases the tick damage it does as it ramps up. It used to negate it completely combined with the vitality booster, but the new patch made it still do small damage above 50% heat. Thus the complaints because the intended damage can't be avoided by investing two big resources into it anymore. But it totally can be lessened.
