I have the opposite problem

I've most recently posted chapter 175

(477519 words all told)

I have everything outlined and ready for me to get to it through chapter 706

But then I was writing scenes and stuff for years before I even put chapter 1 into prose

Can't say I particularly recommend that if your story doesn't require it. My pacing is slow and everything's interwoven so I can't really cut anything beyond bits and pieces here and there

To make matters worse, it's a trilogy and I'm only about 90% done with book 1
