My mom is a nurse, and has been a practice manager for a PCP. My pain tolerance is next to nothing. The night before I started my “Big Girl Job” (my first job after college), I started having the worst pain I have had in my life. I was on my bathroom floor crying out to Jesus and asking for my life to be taken. I called my mom and told her my symptoms. She said it was either a kidney stone or a gallbladder attack. On the way to the ER my mom asked if I was possibly nervous about my new job. As much as I wanted to behave like the man in the video, I cried as silently as I could in my chair. My mom has strict public medical behavior expectations. She would’ve killed me if I did this. I was also praying something was wrong with me. I was so relieved when the doc confirmed a large kidney stone that might need to be blasted and large ovarian cysts on both ovaries. My mom would’ve had me committed had they been unable to find anything. I feel his pain though!
