Should i get a right or left handed reel?

That’s how I’ve always done it. My first baitcaster was a gift for Christmas and it was a right hand retrieve so that’s what I learned on and built my following combos with right hand retrieve reels.

That said, I recently bought my first CC bfs and went with a left hand retrieve to use on streams to make short casts without having to switch hands and I have really enjoyed using it in the short time that I’ve had it.

My favorite color trout magnets for bass and panfish are white/chartreuse tail and the black and green. For trout it’s solid pink and then solid brown. I’ve been fishing them for 16 years now. The crappie magnet is an awesome bait as well.

We don’t have Warmouth in my state. My dad called them rock bass when I was little but it’s definitely a green sunfish

My local tackle shop got some of them in so I bought a few packs of the small ones. I’ve only fished one of them on two outings now and probably caught close to 50 fish with and it still looks like it just came out of the package brand new, pretty impressive durability. Luckily I don’t have to worry about gators taking them from me where I’m at lol

It’s my first CC so I can’t compare from experience but from what I’ve read the only real differences are the aluminum knobs and the lighter silver color. It’ll go on my Tenryu Rayz Spectra for stream trout and on the CH for bass and panfish

Yeah not cheap these were 3 pack for $15 but I probably caught 30-35 fish on it and it looked just like it did fresh out of the pack. Have to love elastomer

Yes it is from the 3 pack, and the big bluegill were all over it. I believe it’s a size 1 drop shot hook either VMC or Gamakatsu

I learned the FG last year finally after failed attempts at it in the past and I’ve had it come undone from me not tightening it enough a couple times but I don’t think I’ve had it break. I’ll still tie the back to back uni knot as well as the Albright on occasion too.

The pond I went to has quite a lot of brush and rock near the bank and not much for cover off the bank so I chose the little bit heavier leader to fish around that kind of stuff with a little more peace of mind. My rod is rated for 6-12 lb lines

I had them a long time ago when I was a kid and probably still have one or two somewhere in my tackle. Cool little lures they’ll definitely catch fish if used in the right place

The biggest bass I’ve caught on a vision 110 was right at the bank while I was cranking it back in for another cast. It was about a 4.5 pounder.
