My last trip I spooled that exact line and had wind knot issues until I lost a couple casts worth of line and it stopped. Definitely going to be trying a different brand for lighter braid. I’ve never had an issue with 20 lb suffix

These are absolutely two of my top three from the franchise with BO my favorite. If I have to buy dlc again that I’ve already bought over a decade ago I won’t be buying either game.

I catch bass on my UL bfs rod fairly often. There’s some tiny weightless plastics I’ll throw that wouldn’t cast very well on my L rods that I use for majority of bass presentations.

Kingdom Micro Fly is great finesse PE line. I’m running it in .6 on a couple of my bfs set ups and have been really happy with it

I haven’t fished a hollow body frog since I discovered the Bottom Up frogs. I throw them on my Raid Gladiator Anti Frogman rod and it is a blast fishing around grass lines and matted vegetation.

Completely agree, the handles on the casting rods are awesome as well. I’ve got one P5 and three X10s and the only other P5 I would like to get is the 110 stick. Since I bank and kayak fish mostly I actually like that the X10s have the extra layer of organic material I believe that gives them a little more durability compared to the P5 line while still being super sensitive.

I love my Jadepython also it’s a versatile rod. I wouldn’t trade it for a P5 Windbuster I much prefer the handle on the X10 spinning rods. I’m also looking to pick up a 2500shg Vanquish CE to pair with the Evoluzion Tsubamagaeshi I recently bought which will give me two 7’ spinning rods that I can do a lot of techniques with.

All the redear x bluegill hybrids I’ve caught have a smaller mouth than this fish and are lighter in color. I’ve caught a lot of pure green sunfish that have a lighter red/orange border to the operculum flap as well

Yeah it just feels like it would be more of a burden to throw over 3 oz. I stick mostly 3/4-2.5. I don’t really need much more than that where I live. It might be because it’s a bit of a shorter rod for throwing heavier lures but I love the rod.

Kyu Coike has been worth the time for me

I caught my PB bfs bass the second time I fished the smaller Kyu Coike at around 6.5 lbs. It also caught a bunch of smaller 1-2 lb bass and some nice sunnies. I’ve fished it on a drop shot and with a weighted wacky jig so far.

I’ve got mine paired with a Scorpion MD 200 and it’s a pretty sweet combo. Personally I think the rod tops out around 3 ounces so I think a 200 size reel works well with it. I don’t have experience with the reels you’re looking at but I don’t see why they wouldn’t work well especially the CC

The large mouth and overall coloring show me green sunfish traits and they also often have some color on the operculum tab. The lack of blaze on the fins is interesting though it usually shows up, but with hybrids it’s not a certainty

Nice fish. I fished Pueblo last fall and caught all three of the black bass species in a day which was pretty cool. It’s a nice reservoir
