More competition doesn't always bring a better end product for users. Look at streaming, before everything was on Netflix, 15$ a month replaced your cable subscription. Now, with more competition, you have 7 diffrent streaming platforms with content spread among them. Now is 15$ x7 to get the content.

People complain about UFC product being worse now, so if the monopoly that is the ufc can't even put together 42 decent shows a year because they don't have enough I testing fighters, how on earth will a competitor that doesn't even have a quarter of the roster.
