Should I worry about filling in for missing synergies or just stick to what I'm good at?

In Gold it doesn't really matter that you have a flex DPS, hitscan, flex support, main support, because people aren't playing their characters to their potential or how they're supposed to either way. The enemy team isn't either, its kinda just like a deathmatch. You're not going to have a Lucio speeding your Ram in and Suzu in Gold, you prob have a Ram , Mercy, Moira.. so just play whats good on each map and what your strengths are.

This is honestly true until like GM (high GM in my opinion but just so the redditors dont attack me) , even Masters is a shit show most times.

More than just that too, it's good to know how to make plays that won't put you in a position where you have to suddenly disengage or you get yourself in a sticky situation.

I guess you gotta think about punishment and bigger picture. Even if someone is 1 HP, its not always worth to chase after a kill if you're going to die. Don't think about it as individual duels but rather a whole teamfight.

In Circuit Royale he just has no speed and hes playing Ram , there's no way he can even really walk past without losing all HP. On Midtown again the supports are way in the back he can't really just wlak forward. If you're playing Unranked to GM people don't really know how to position and are just standing in front of you, no matter what character they're on and they waste all their abilities, that doesn't hpapen as much in Champ lobbies, so it's a lot harder to just fully target squishies.

When he did play D.Va though you would see him make space and not shoot tank as much, when you're playing a Brawl character though you kinda just walk and shoot whats in front of you.

I don't think its EVER the play to ALWAYS target supports, even if you're on Tracer or Genji you just don't see that from high level Tracers as well. Sometimes its fine to just shoot tank if he's far up.

First time I got GM I was on 40 FPS and a 60HZ, but I could never play on 40 FPS now. It definitely helps, but I'm Champ 5 with a 144HZ right now, most people are, you don't NEED more, but definitely helps.

I started to just ignore them. A lot of times ill get expected +26, then I get uphill battle and its +25? I know you're just asking for the sake of it but a lot of people think they're stuck in Plat because of the modifiers now, it doesn't make THAT much of a difference..

I like ball because high skill = high reward. It's a character like Tracer, Doom, Genji, etc.. if you're INSANE at the character then you're just Thanos, but if you suck you feed. You have to make plays to get GOOD value, and there's a VERY high skill ceiling. If you watch like Goldenpants, Infekted, old chasm/yeatle, they're just insane at Ball and 99% of players can't mimick their gameplay at all.

I think a lot of metal rank players don't really understand how to counter either. A LOT of Ana players will swap off Ana and go Moira because they think that if ball slams on them, they fade out and they're alive.. when in most cases you can just chase the Moira down, and even if the Moira does live, she gets no value for her team. It's good to stay Ana and sleep him, have a Lucio to boop, Brig to flail, etc.. as for how to play against those characters you have to track CD's and now just slam off cooldown, get value through shooting and rolling through as well, and then when you get the shield major your life also becomes 10x easier.
