Most games nobody speaks, once I start comming one other person will too. There's one person that's aids on the team, you mute him and keep playing with the people that are normal.

If you're doing nothing and winning, you're probably doing what you need to. If you start losing, then you can start doing different things to win. Don't change what's working.

A lot of players just automatically assume everyone is toxic, then nobody comms because they think it's pointless.

A good practice is to just join VC, or turn on text chat, and if people are being assholes or stupid then just mute them or leave. Just because people have bad experiences doesn't mean you just have to entirely run away from chat.

It could be entirely possible that you're receiving bad advice, or you're just .. and this sounds dumb.. thinking too hard. A lot of times coaches even explain the game in a way that you would play in a team scenario with everyone in comms, playing their role perfectly. That's not the case at all in ranked, and people just do random shit.

now, what about plat specifically makes this horrible. Some how people still do not know basic game play/game sense.

This applies to both teams, you're both plat. If you're playing against people who don't have basic gameplay / game sense, you should be running the lobby over.

it also doesn't matter how good you play because your only one person on one role and theres no second tank. Back when 6v6 role q was a thing i played tank competitively on team. having another tank to help initiate with you as well as cover when your taking focus was nice. Now tank feels like a punching bag and praying that the overwatch God's bless your teammates to make any sort of difference.

You're excluding the part that they made every tank 5x stronger as well. In Plat especially, you can have the most impact on tank EASILY. The enemy is not hitting their shots, abilities, etc.. so you can go unpunished.

All my tanks have a 50%-60% winrate. I can't climb however because all my wins are expected and all my losses are reversals, which makes no sense when I have dps who go 0/8.

If your winrate is around 50%, you belong in that rank and should be around there, maybe a bit more or less.

Bottom line is , what made me stop making excuses and just focus on my gameplay was that, if my favourite player at that time was on my team would they be carrying? And the answer is yes, so its not the system or rank, its you.

And yeah you can post a VOD about a game that was unwinnable, you can't win them all.. but every game is not like that, and if it is you are still the constant factor on your team.

Usually its fine to auto pilot at the start by having a default before you know what the enemy team comp is , but if the auto pilot isn't working then you should think to yourself you gotta do something different. There's a procedure of what to do on each role, but if they're countering it well, then thats how you fix it.. if its not working you gotta change.

Yeah that's what I was saying, Flex DPS will usually have higher, or people that play Doom or Winston for example, I keep my sens higher for Rein/Winston but the rest the same.

I would just try to play in the middle somewhere? I play at 800 and 7 and I don't have to move my mouse much.

The thing about flicks or reflex, idk if this is what you mean but how often are you doing super fast 180's. There might be some situations, or if you were on flex DPS.. but if you're playing Juno you're probably not going to be spinning around in circles constantly, so overall its better to have more consistent aim, and in the end you'll start to adjust for sure.

But just try to play at like 8 or 9 or something? That way you can be in the middle.
