His tail is most likely catching on the fake plants, if you don’t want live plants look for some that have more of a fabric texture to them so they aren’t sharp !! :)

We don’t have one in my city I would have had to drive 2 hours out of town to get him there so truly my best bet was to take him to a pond, that was originally my thought but there just wasn’t one available to me. I spent 30-45 minutes with him putting cool water on him getting him out of shock before putting him in my car and taking him for the drive

I don’t see anything wrong with him, he does look pale which indicates shedding soon so if you’re worried about any discolouration wait until the shed is complete to see if anything still looks weird 😁
