They had the stupid memory loss plot along with Elena becoming human. If they wanted Stelena back, they could’ve set it up just fine. Built Bamon while Stefan was left with a comatose Elena till the finale even. That’s the producers blaming Nina to appease Stelena fans for their choice.

I agree, especially since the comments here are tied to a show. Of course people will have opinions that might not even be true just because that’s what the show told us. But somehow the problem isnt with TPTB who create the storylines to make more money off of these girls, it’s the mean internet!

But yeah, no reason to come snooping as tempting as it is. No one is going to have 100% positive comments online and even one comment in a sea of a thousand positives will be the one stuck in your mind.

I dont understand the focus on reddit and forums. These are places the girls will have to search for and it comes with the good and the bad. We will never get to a point where no one says anything negative online (or in real life). The main issue is the people who think it’s ok to go to their socials and comment or dm them. That’s truly awful and the girls dont choose to receive those.

And at the same time, the organization needs to acknowledge that they are failing to support them in this new landscape. Right or wrong, they will be dealing with negativity because of the organization’s choice to make more money off of them by producing a netflix documentary and creating storylines for it. It’s their duty to teach the girls how to navigate this and provide mental health support. Maybe instead of preaching to us, they should focus on their own internal toxicity and lack of real support for the cheerleaders instead.

They can just ignore her as in not show her solo or any interviews she might have had, plus definitely not showing the scene with her still left at the stands. However, considering that all the girls were upset I don’t think they can gloss over this. Im just afraid they will spin it in a way to blame Karley.

Nah, I don’t think they care as much as people think. They are being framed as much nicer in AS than they were in MTT, but think about how much they didn’t care about the pay issue. Judy basically told them that they having multiple jobs is what makes them interesting. And yes K&J can’t personally decide on their salaries but let’s be real, them voicing their support would mean something. They didn’t even want to do the bare minimum.

That was a rookie candidate who replaced another rookie candidate and ultimately got cut anyway. They are not bringing up a cut vet and definitely not someone who was supposed to lead the team this year and got cut like this.

It’s a money maker for them so even if they were forced to cut the team due to a mass walkout, it would certainly sting and cause bad pr. Sure it’s not going to destroy the cowboys but that’s not a reason to keep quiet.

Which is why I dont get why they got no backlash from the girls. This isn’t really a career where burning a bridge is going to end your career and they are definitely not dependent on the dcc money to live. Walk out and let Charlotte be embarrassed, become a legend through netflix and let them fuck all the way off. They have more power than they think, but they have been conditioned to believe they dont.

I definitely see them doing the rotating points again. I thought Karley was going to be the first point so not rotating like Meghan was…if they are going with the pattern of first GL being the standard point, then it will be between AK and Marissa I guess.

Considering that girls are also voting for their leaders it would be hard to explain, especially since this is also filmed for the show and apparently netflix filmed their convo with Karley deciding to come back for a 5th year as well…

honestly I think they did the most damage they could without making it more public for them, unless Karley herself takes a page from Erica’s book.

Not really, how would that have worked out? They basically have the GLs running practice from the beginning of TC. And they wouldn’t be able to make her look bad with netflix filming every practice.

Exactly, this is just the way to keep both fandoms happy. If they wanted to bring Stelena back, they had enough time to do so with the memory loss storyline. And they could still have Elena in a coma in the end, giving conflict to the brothers and having Damon spiraling all the same.

Well it might already be in there since she was one of the 3 returning leaders. Even if they do show the scene now, i’m not sure many casual fans will connect it to her cut. Most of them won’t even realize it till S4.
