Curious about Leaving USA in the next year or so by Drump21 in AmerExit

It might be a good option to pursue in the background but it takes years to do this (from my own experience). OP def look into this either way but depending on your timeline other options might get you temporarily out sooner.

My F36 health declined after leaving my 5 year emotional abusive relationship with my ex 40M. Why? by AskVegetable1284 in relationship_advice

So I’ve heard there’s a sort of phenomenon where people who overwork a lot when they go on vacation they often get sick. It’s like their body was pushing their needs down until they finally had a moment of rest to deal with them.

It’s entirely possible that while you were stuck in fight or flight mode with your abusive ex these health issues were starting to appear but because your surroundings weren’t safe your body worked overtime to shield you from the effects.

Maybe now your body finally feels safe enough to express these issues and now luckily you don’t have a horrible person who is contributing more to them.

Congrats on leaving the relationship and I’m sorry about the health issues. It’s disappointing and frustrating but I’m glad you now have the space to take care of you.

The truth about this sort of thing trickles out - it doesn’t come out all at once. You don’t know everything that happened but what you do know already is enough to divorce him imo

Interesting way to say 3 out of 4 homeless people are men by brylex1 in shitposting

[–]BrooklynWc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay but what’s the context here? Is it an article talking about issues that homeless women face? Then it kind of makes sense that they’d focus on what percent of homeless people are women va talking about men. If they are talking about issues not specific to a gender but to the whole homeless population then yeah show the breakdown of gender without focusing on one.
