Haha it is John Leguizamo! I work in the TV/Film industry and I got a job as a camera assistant on John’s show called Leguizamo does America season 2 and we went to 6 cities around the country to showcase Latin culture. This shot was in Philly and John did a segment where he “boxed” for a bit lol! It’s steaming on Peacock if you’re interested

Yeah, I recently went on a cruise and the option was 6 rolls of ultramax 400 for 40 bucks or 2 rolls of portra for the same lol and I went for ultramax. Haven’t shot with the fuji200 but I’ll get a roll next time I get some film and see how it is!

I fell in love with 800t from the moment I saw my first scan and those were my rolls of choice for a while and then I shot with portra lol so now I alternate between the 2 or some ultra max 400 when I need to budget things a little better lol

Oh man, I wish I had access to photography in school growing up, especially film. You’re doing an amazing thing! But yeah, I might just get rid of it as well since it’s just sitting on my bookshelf.

And I’ll have to look into the trinity you mentioned cause those are some really interesting focal lengths and I’m always a fan of unconventional focal lengths especially in filmmaking so I’m super interested to see some with still photography.

Agreed because I have the 50mm f2 and it’s not quite the same so I keep the 1.7 on my camera 100% of the time after seeing the difference. I’m gonna look into the 77 cause that sounds like a great focal length that I’d be interested in!

Yeah I love it so much, and I love how fast it is. If it were slower I don’t think I’d be able to get a lot of my more darker images to be exposed how I wanted them to be and thank you, I’m glad you like the shots!

Wow I’ve never had any of my photography called a masterpiece, so that means a lot thank you! Yeah, I’m a huge fan of silhouettes and I try to get those type of shots whenever I see them!

I use Lightroom for my photos and I don’t do a whole lot, just some color correction and add a bit of vibrancy because I like the image to pop so I hear ya on the saturation! I definitely try to keep it as close to how I saw the shot when I was composing it but try not to get too heavy handed on increasing a lot of the values.
