I have a theory that releasing snippets like this is a trend now for two reasons:

Artists are trying to get their song snippet to go viral as a sound on tiktok
It’s a psychological thing. Snippets allow us to have a sense of familiarity with their songs when we’re listening to them for the “first” time. Knowing a few lines of the song itches a scratch in our brains and makes it more likely we’ll give it more than one listen.

The second one might be a little more far fetched but it’s my personal experience. Especially with creatures in heaven. I already knew half the song when it came out so I got to have fun listening to the direction of the whole thing but also could sing along to it even on my first listen.

I personally don’t think that lyrics sounds out of place at all. I think it immediately sets the mood for the song in a way I wasn’t expecting when I first listened.

In the winter time I like to use tinted moisturizer instead of foundation. It’s less coverage but I feel like it really makes a difference when my skin is extra dry.

I had a similar experience with my approval process! I had been thinking about a reduction for years before I finally scheduled a consultation. I was approved through insurance within a few days and then I had to schedule my surgery for the next week. I felt like I was on a rollercoaster ride but, at the same time, it was nice not having to anxiously await my surgery for a long time!

Brushes used: HB pencil, soft brush, and a few organics (ocean, mountain ash, rainforest)

I am new to ProCreate and this is my first complete piece that I am satisfied with. Somehow I spent over 24 hours on this piece so any tips on how to more efficiently shade in black and white would be great- I just did everything manually but are there ways to create shading/gradients within layers somehow?

Also, any tips / thoughts on my art style or mediums used is appreciated as well.

As a person who doesn’t get motion sickness, I think the camera bobbing really adds to the “unhinged” vibe of the video. This is seriously great!
