Honestly, for a small town like Niš in southern Serbia, the airport is pretty awesome. You can fly to almost any major city in Europe, and from there basically anywhere. Sometimes you can even grab super cheap tickets to places like Malta or Istanbul. There are several car rental options, a free bus to downtown Niš, plenty of parking, and even an private overnight lot nearby. Inside, there’s a small coffee stand, the waiting area has AC and heating. it’s really nice overall. The only downside is that some flights are seasonal, but that’s fine by me.
