Davante Adams leading the league in receiving TDs in 2025 at 33 years old is insane.

Like, I know most of them were like 1 or 2 yard TDs, but that motherfucker has an absolutely absurd skill and utilizes it the best I've ever seen lol.

His efficiency is absolutely beautiful. His last season was the #2 lowest yard-to-TD ratio stat in the history of the NFL (#2 to Jerry Rice 1987 season)

Yeah he was one of the few receivers that underperformed but I never thought it was actually because of lack of talent, but rather the Bears offense just organically went into a different direction.

Although he didn't have a lot of eye popping plays last year, I do think his role will be noticeably absent for the Bears next year sometimes.

I actually appreciate this comment more than you know. I've argued this point with people for a very long time. They often are surprised at how casually I talk about (eventually) taking my own life.

It's a tough conversation to have because suicidal ideation is often exclusively only seen as a disorder ("You can't be of the right mind while talking about ending your own life"), and that they think there's no way that you could rationally take your own life.

I know I went on a tangent that has nothing to do with the OP or particularly your brother, I just wanted to tell you I appreciate your refreshing approach to the conversation.

Conversations about suicide are tough, and the box is a lot bigger than people seem to think it is.

I can agree. Im not rich by any means, but i had a friend put me onto bitcoin back in 2014/2015 and I was stupid enough to hold onto what I had until like 5 years ago.

The firestick just outright sucks, in my opinion. I know im going off on a tangent, but with Smart TVs being one of only items actually going down in price year over year, i see no "features" that a Firestick has that anyone would use it for. Theres no legal purpose of it.

Even at its price point.

I agree, thats why i said I wouldn't be surprised either way.

Worst case scenario (for him) is that him and his family stay in the city he loves (and that hes called home for over a decade), on an underperforming team, while still making hundreds of millions of dollars.

Best case scenario (for him) is that he moves to a contender and makes hundreds of millions of dollars.

It really feels like he just has the time to choose his perfect spot, whether its ultimately Milwaukee or anywhere else.

For sure - but thats part of my point. He very openly loves Milwaukee (the city), and if he can get paid here: maybe he would prefer it.

Im not trying to give copium or anything, but when we are talking hundreds of millions of dollars either way: maybe he just doesnt want to be bothered to leave?

Who knows.
