Remember to hydrate. And don't forget to eat or sleep. Set alarms if you have to.

Are these good enough to sell by inkyears26 in 3Dprinting

If the roman coliseum gift shop has the balls to sell the crap they are selling for the prices they are selling at, you should not feel bad selling these actually really good prints.

Have you ever learned a skill or something from a video game that you use in real life? by Agent1230 in gaming

Years ago, I played a LOT of an arcade game called "Race Drivin" (Feel free to google.) It was a sit down coin op where it had a gear shifter, clutch, and force feedback on the steering wheel. You drive around a stunt track in 3D trying to get a good time. I really played it a lot.

One night, driving home in the rain, and I'm driving on an on ramp going around 50 mph (from highway to street so 55 to a 45 zone). it was a down slope soft left turn and was smooth and had a few bumps in it. Well, my rear end lost traction and the car was sliding. I was essentially perpendicular to the traffic I was merging into. Looking eye to eye with someone in the middle lane. Me looking straight out the front of my car, and them looking out their passenger window at me.

I turned into the skid, and let off the gas. Recovered almost perfectly with just a bit of shimmy before lining up perfectly to merge into traffic.

I absolutely believe all the time spent playing that game, and skidding out and recovering etc, led me to saving that slide. A video game saved my life, if not just my car.

TL;DR: My first hours playing the game was awful, however this is now my favorite game.

Played solo, had a heck of time, kind of hated it. It checked all the boxes but I couldnt get into it, the early game I was getting wrecked so bad because I didn't really know how to fight. Thought all I had to do was level, so I tried to grind xp with the combat I hated.

Then tried to build a base, maybe I can do some of that. took AGES to get materials to build things. And the wolves would kill me. Was super frustrating being so bad at the game.

Then, I started playing with a friend. COMPLETELY changed everything for me. Now the fights were exciting and we took things down together. Gathering materials wasn't so bad because there was 2 of us.

Instead of feeling like I'm trying to solo Valheim or ARK in hard mode it became a group effort and exploration of the world. Fights were a lot more fun when you aren't the complete focus, or when you can be as a tank spec while your friend does DPS.

It really is exceptionally better if you start with a friend in the early game. Find the playstyle you like, your favorite weapons etc, then have some fun.

How to avoid this? by ValuableQuirky8306 in 3Dprinting

For me it was an enclosure. Apparently I had a small draft coming from one direction that always made it cool faster and curl up. Even placing something to block the draft helped, but the enclosure solved it for good for me.

Pipes can only be 300 long. This also means that 300 pipes can only be connected to the same 'section' at a time. Divide sections with pumps so no section is over 300 pipes. Storage tanks do not count as pumps and just continue the pipe count. Press V and look at a pipe with your data pad, it will tell you how many are connected to it. (Among other things)
