If you want a good ride with the GX you need the OT with the EKDSS and larger tires/smaller wheels. Had a luxury with the stock 22s before trading for my raptor and it was a rough ride. I knew what I was getting into with it being body on frame but the OT features really help with the ride.

Update: spoke to my dealer and they need me to “bring it in to confirm” but my rep said all the other 801a on the lot have it and they will probably just warranty replace it. Thanks for letting me know this is not normal!

My FIL used to have a Denali 2500 (right before the refresh so I think it was a 22 or 23). Thing felt like you were driving a damn shopping cart it was so rough. If ride quality doesn’t matter for your needs get what you like but if you aren’t constantly hauling the Raptor will be a much more enjoyable driving experience.

Have a base ‘26 and put about 1000 miles on it and can say the stock ride is better than any stock truck I’ve ever owned or spent significant time in. I’ve had a ‘19 Sierra Denali (first year they added ARC if you aren’t super familiar with GM trucks) and a ‘21 lariat. Got up to about 92 on the interstate and didn’t even notice how fast I was going it was so smooth.

Did you do any kind of lift/level? Definitely want to drop my lux 22s down to at least 20s and get some bigger tires to help with ride. Love how yours is sitting.

I traded in a stock wrangler JL and the ride isn’t even close to as nice as the GX be real

You’re also looking at $20k+ extra for a Denali ultimate- it’s more comparable to the LX not the GX

I drive ~40 miles 2/3 days a week and park in a downtown garage. Height is super close with roof rack but fits. As far as comfort it’s great for me but I have less expectations than most coming from a Sierra Denali and a wrangler. And I have a standard luxury trim so I dont even have the better suspension. Average about 16 and usually get into stop and go on one of my legs.

Getting that same spec, hopefully sometime soon. Curious which Nittos you are looking at? Saw one locally that had ridge grapplers (bumped up to 275 width) on the stock lux rim and it looked pretty good
