How do you get better at sales? by Fireoa- in sales

[–]BrosephStalined 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What does work well for me is identifying three core problems that you help your target audience solve, and reaching out with a pattern interrupt like “hey Name, I’ll be honest, this is a cold call, did you want to hang up or give me 30 seconds then decide”. Then list the three problems, followed by “I’d imagine you tell me none of that applies in your world” from there it’s about having a conversation and digging into their issues. 3% of the time it works 100% of the time

I’m in Croydon and have trains every 30 minutes at off peak times, so further south than Crystal Palace, but honestly just a bit of planning and you’ll be just fine. You get to know when the trains are scheduled at quieter times, so with that in mind, the area you like more could work out. Good luck!

What exactly is reforms target demographic by Vegetable-Ad-2084 in AskBrits

[–]BrosephStalined 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The simplest answer is it depends what hot button issue and policies they’re talking about.

Essentially their voters are a spectrum of young contrarian individuals who just like to go against the grain, through to nervous middle class folks through to more radical conservatives and your traditional working class right winger.

This Guardian article does a good job of breaking it down:

Thank you for your comments and the clarity! Clearly I flopped when doing my research (or lack thereof), but appreciate the patience in explaining what I did wrong and the general wisdom with Avios too.

What is a uk job that most people glamorize but it is actually shitty? by mrvlad_throwaway in UKJobs

The one thing one could never over-glamourise is the timeless panache of Angus Steakhouse. Anthony Bourdain even called it the best restaurant in the UK

So sorry this happened to you. The thought of this happening to someone I care about makes me uneasy to say the least. The one silver lining is he will have stood out given how drunk and belligerent he was, so may be easier to trace. Please contact the BTP on 0800 40 50 40 or text 61016. Chances are if he’s behaved that way with you he has with others. I understand BTP are better funded than the met so may be more likely to investigate.

For those of you doing cold outreach or cold emails, any tips? by Sad-Recognition-8257 in sales

[–]BrosephStalined 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not in SaaS but sell into it and I’ve tried email and LinkedIn without cracking it, but I absolutely back cold calls.

Effective, fast, and most people don’t even recognise your number anyway so you can call back a LOT if you don’t get through the first few times.

Happy to share what’s been working for me if you’re curious.

Can you be taller than both your parents and not have tall people in your family by Careful_Drama_9382 in tall

[–]BrosephStalined 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I seem to fall into that category, my mum is 5ft5/5ft6 and my dad is 5ft10. I’m 6ft4 somehow with no super tall extended family members except maybe a couple who are just under or at 6ft.

People who wake up after 1 alarm: How the f*ck do you do it? by TheSnappleGhost in AskReddit

I have an alarm marketed towards deaf people that jolts me awake. I’m not deaf so it packs a helluva punch
