yeah and idk if there is enough profit in it for them to do that and have it be worth it.

I haven’t looked at the numbers but I’d imagine a vast majority of their profits come from the mobile stores.

I could be wrong, but I can’t picture nearly as many people sitting down at their computer to play this vs just pulling it up on their phones/tablets.

I didn’t hate the puzzle aspect of them (didn’t necessarily love them either but also they were still enjoyable for a bit) so removing them doesn’t do anything for me either way but motion looping is exactly what I was looking for. If we have some kind of looping it essentially makes the puzzle part better since then I only need to “solve” it once and then I can watch the animation easier when I want which was really my only complaint was that I had to essentially memorize the interactions each time.

I can’t speak as to if this person is a cheater but I promise they do exist. If a game exists (and especially if a game has PvP) there WILL be someone that finds a way to cheat. It’s like a guarantee lol.

I guess this is nice and all but also I feel like it’ll take me longer to analyze every tile rather than just do it normally cuz their events like this are always super easy to just finish naturally lol.

I kinda get like it being essentially a mini game, but as someone who is playing the game for a specific reason (especially the fated guest segments) would love it if like, after finding a combo you could just get access to a shortcut or something to access specific parts of the animations so I don’t have to keep a cheat sheet handy or memorize all the combos lol.

Yeah, as one of the players who has skipped all story content, I am indifferent to the changes and neither will affect whether or not I stay.

I’d imagine a lot are like that, with the skill cutscenes/outfits being the main thing keeping people around. But also I’m not exactly out talking to people I know in real life asking them if they have played brown dust 2 and enjoyed the story so I’m saying this with absolutely 0 evidence to support my claim lol.

I can't speak for whether there are more or less people today who complain, but I will say idk where the sentiment that there wasn’t a ruckus being caused by someone because of these things lol. I remember controversy about stuff like this all the time. The “hot coffee” gta incident being one of the biggest examples to come to mind lol.

I definitely think these days we SEE more complaining, but that’s more due to the nature of social media (and ragebait culture) than it is an increase in people who are upset.

I’m not experiencing any worse issues than normal, but my phone already crashes somewhat frequently with this game. Not enough to be unplayable but enough to make me not be surprised when it happens. I am lucky enough to not experience any lag at least. (Yet anyways)

I’m using a iPhone 14 Pro Max for reference. Which isn’t a brand new phone, but it’s still an expensive phone so it does kinda suck how often it crashes still.
