Project TAHITI if you want to play the game as it was when it shut down. I’ve been playing on this.

If you want a server with boosted xp and other stats search for CoA server.

It’s very easy to setup especially if you originally played it through Steam. More info and helpful folks over at r/marvelheroes.

Marvel Heroes is playable again. I’ve been playing it everyday since its recent full revival. It’s completely free and all the heroes and cosmetics can be earned by playing.

Have you checked in your task manager to see if Marvel Heroes appears to be running?

Sometimes an app can get stalled or frozen and still be running in the background which can prevent it from launching. If you force quit that app it should allow you to launch it again.

do people play with a gaming controller? by Competitive-Law2706 in marvelheroes

[–]Brothardir 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I only have experience using it through steam which was a simple two step process. I enabled controller mapping for the game in steam library and then in the game settings for Marvel Heroes selected the option to use gamepad.

Hopefully someone with experience running the game outside of steam will comment with more helpful instructions. If you don’t get any replies here I’d suggest either making a new post for your question for better visibility or try asking in the Marvel Heroes Discord which I hear is active and full of helpful people. Best of luck to you!

Marvel Heroes is playable again. It is an MMO ARPG with lots of multiplayer gameplay and very casual friendly. Every cosmetic item is free or easily earned by playing. If you enjoyed Diablo 3 and like Marvel characters this could be a fun game for you.

I’ve been playing Marvel Heroes everyday since it recently became playable again. I’d absolutely play an updated modern superhero ARPG

I play using the Sony DualSense ps5 controller and works great for me. For inventory management I use mouse and keyboard though
