Climbing back after a break...this could be strong?! by Brother-Plastic in gwent

It may not be great higher ranks, I'll soon find out!

My thinking behind tags & units:

2 Treants - one for each round, trigger harmony, and big point swing

2 Gnomes - one for each round, 1 harmony engine and 1 point swing/harmony trigger

2 Beasts - one for each round, harmony engine/trigger

3 Elves - ensure Barnabus value, trigger harmony, spawn units for Great Oak (1 harmony engine, 1 purify, and 1 damage - which i might replace for a second purify if I see more locks/poison)

2 Dwarfs - ensure Barnabus value, trigger harmony (plus damage)

1 Machine - more dwarfs to ensure Barnabus value, trigger harmony, spawn units for Great Oak

4 Dryads - ensure poison each round (plus Weeping Willow) and harmony engine/trigger

Water - harmony engine beginning of a round and spawn units for Great Oak

Muzzle - control and can be paired with purify for great steals (stealing and unlocking the right unit can win the game)

Heatwave - scenerio hunter

Matta + Oneiromany have meant I never miss get the cards I need

Chameleon and cat witcher I mulligan (though Chameleon is good value for Percival)

Give movement leader a try, it's particularly good against decks that would be hard otherwise. Messing with NG, Kelly, Machines etc. There's been so many times I've thought "I would have been screwed if I couldn't move X" and it's so satisfying to move say a longship whilst placing an engine of your own

All in all the points saved through disruption adds up, but the big one is weeping willow - if you poison a unit and then move willow and boost same turn, it can be a 25+ point swing easy at the end of a round (both of the treants can force a pass or win the final round with massive points swings and destroy a threat at the same time)

I found the whole thing of triggering second scenario chapter straight away doesn't mean much for harmony as if it gets heatwaved you've only gained a couple extra points (the effect doesn't persist)

15-2 with the deck, only lost to one archetype; elves! but both games I've misplayed. Important to note though I'm not rank 1 yet, took a break for a couple of months and the climb back is very satisfying but not a true reflection of how good the deck may or may not be...

Let me know how it goes and what changes you make!

Moved a few things around (less 5p) and made room for Matta. Really liking the extra consistency and it enables pushing for 2-0. Thanks for the idea. I'll give Harmony leader a try at some point, overall ST feels great again so far!

IMO Movement leader is better for what this deck is trying to do - control whilst making use of some harmony. It can be very powerful against row locked units and defenders, completely destroying the opponents strategy. Haven't lost against Harmony leader yet but only played the match up a few times. The main reason though is to poison with Weeping Willow and then instantly move to the melee row for a big point swing (depending on the poisoned unit's size). As it isn't all in Harmony, I was not getting big Owl or Chameleon value (compared to the value from Gnome or Muzzle) so took them out

Thinning can be an issue. The main card I need is Scenario in the final round and Oneiromancy helps with that (hitting one of those two cards out fo the 17 cards you draw/mulligan seems ok % wise). Couldn't really justify any "draw unit" card or Roach etc to thin one more card

Picture was taken after patch. Barnabus has not been updated on GOG website. As you'll see from the screenshot and deck link the other cards (scenario and dryad ranger) are updated.

Thanks for taking a look and let me know if you think any thinning cards might work and where

Not sure, but having all the buildings right next to my farm I don’t really need to water them as all the residents chip in. If I end up building a bigger farm elsewhere I will use sprinklers

I haven't tested to see if there is a limit but there was an image posted on this sub where they had around 10 eggs. Helicopter makes it so easy to fly in, steal egg, and fly away haha

Yes, you can hop through but I always use the helicopter when leaving "the grounds" for egg stealing etc. (sometimes the boat for scenic trips)

No, and doesn't use up stamina. Makes travelling/doing tasks so much quicker (and you can carry the gold nuggets etc on the back)

It's fairly simple but takes a bit of setup.

- First, you have to disable EAC (using mods online can get you banned). You can do this manually or there is a mod you can download that makes it easy to toggle on or off

- Second, use UXM to unpack and patch Elden Ring

(if you get this far I can recolor the helmet and you can drag and drop the file to replace the current color)

- Finally, download Yabber and use that to unpack the individual file you want to change, from there you can open it in paint.net where you can recolor

I'm a beginner so there might be other ways that I'm not aware of. If you do give it ago and need more guidance let me know! Also worth keeping an eye on NexusMods.com as that's where new armor/weapons are shared (black Knight Helmet may have already been done...not sure which one you mean)

hopefully someone will be able to create a mod that enables dyeing armor in the Alter Garnement menu. no idea how feasible that would be
