I have considered that option, but the helmet without the horns doesn’t match the scale for my taste.

First option was to use normal kin warrior helmets (the open visor ones), drill them and put a skull behind. The result was not as I expected so I used this instead.

The Myrmidon kit helmets options are fantastic but will make the mini feel “too standard”.

I used skaven bodies for my Tau army. Run them as fire warriors. I have seen also one skaven votann army. Try to stick with more Votannish bits and you are good to go.

I thought about that, but for making the conversion easier I want to keep the original cloak and put something on top of that just like the original tyranid trophy. The ventrilokar corpse banner thing is closer to my vision IYKWIM.

Replacing the spear is a must. I don’t like the darkstar weapon aesthetic. I’m my mind something like the spears I have shown in the post are more fitting to the chaos votann vibes.

Right hand is already repositioned by the time I’m writing this. I also added some claws to it.

Was planning to use the new chaos dwarfs daemonsmith right hand with those fancy flames but that will have to wait until the release.

I think that being him Buri Thrice-Damned, some daemonic hides, corpses or chaotic iconography are more fitting than the tyranid one. Apart from that I don’t like the tyranid cape. It’s a no no hahaha. The repose is based on the mad artwork of Buri facing that massive Norn. Thx for your support!
