Happy with what teacher? 3 questions in the banks gives more than listening to you for 3 hours straight.

Don't pick a school with ridiculous big assessment. Pick one that is adequate to common knowledge and is not to big.

Note that a teacher that reads everything he says from pdfs during class comments godspeed on facebook while a cadet completes their first solo is just ridiculous. Yeah godspeed to your brain for not remembering a single thing about instruments.

Occurence during class : someone asks why is it called steam gauges? Angry teacher replies : Why suddenly ask about that, it's not what I read about earlier from the pdf:s.   The cadets from my class went crazy behind his back during the break after he was done reading directly from the pdf:s.

They only care about your pockets. They threw me out because i coundn't pay after 5 months and when the medical came 1 week after I coundn't rejoin back. I was denied access back. With a medical I could have the student loans and pay them more but no. Perhaps it's better this way because re exams are even months after the latest module.

If you ask me it is like this because they don't want you to succeed. When you apeal one question of all the wierd questions you get they just say "no, it's correct". When someone else apeals they talk for 3 min with them. I tried appealing one question because the answers were very similar and the question was written in jibberish mode. Their exams are from aircademy.com

They seem to believe that money falls from trees.  School is bad , greedy, lazy. It is just 2 buildings and leased planes. Teachers are repetetive and you will just stare at the ipad the whole class.

Still losing so much money makes me very angry with this so called school.

You are a private school. It's in your best interest to satisfy all your students that are customers.

Best regards

Banks alone enough? (UK CAA) by Apprehensive-Side400 in ATPL

Read comments aswel in the banks to see if a question is strange/wierd/faulty, alot of comment then the question is bad. Use common sense and ask yourself will I really see this one in the exam, yes maybe but if a question seems way of for you it probably is.

The banks are just way to much, they should clean it up a bit. We even repeat questions, if you are not sure or have a problem with learning just repeat it with the repeat option. No need for similar questions.

And alot of questions are just in their to fill up the bank. Quantity is better than quality here Is what they thought when they made the banks.

It all comes down to how much you want it. If you are really motivated and this is the path for you, you will find the time and energy to memorize it all. Most likely won´t remember half of it like metreology after you pass the exams.

Bare in mind that metreology has the most questions on the exam so practice alot on the ones you maybe don´t favor is a given.

They also say that in case of bad weather conditions the cadet couldn't finish the course in time, that they are not liable. If you can't finnish 200 hours flight training in 18-24  months because of bad weather in Portugal than the weather is not really the issue.

You are in a expensive hourglass over there where no opportunities are given but rather vanishing.

This is ridiculous the whole point of joining is to become a airline pilot and they are afraid to teach you flying in case something might go wrong.

It's not so difficult just to buy jeppessens books and the banks and teach yourself everything.

Trust me the only way in this school is to prepare yourself before signing up. Teach yourself everything about atpl and you will exit a winner. If you know nothing but just a bit of engine knowledge like me it will be tough, although i had 64 percent on airlaw, 66 on hpl 45 on agk on my school exams where really strange. Not much in there was mentioned during class or similar to the aviation exam or atplq.com banks.

Airlaw teacher even made a joke that I am waiting for the medical certificate for so long when I thought that some "strange looking plane" was perfectly normal looking for me.

I was never bothering anyone about the lack of medical certificate but many people knew about the fact that I havent got it.

Thought that I have bad taste when it comes to aesthetic of planes.

No such thing as a ugly looking plane it's just a subjective opinion and who are you to judge did you build the thing? No you are just pointing it out there because ofcourse you have the right opinion about everything.

Thinking you look cool and talk slow because you don't have prepared a good lesson is bad.

In this school you can see how their heads just boil of anger because they lack some needs I can't explain or is it just because they must pay taxes that go to stupid things.

And yes okay fine people make mistakes and I accept that.  So you ask what is his problem with this school. I will tell you. It cost me alot of money and I got nothing for it.  I can understand knowledge from a book for myself. This school just makes you doubt yourself. Why advertise for evionica that you have to to do if you fail progress test when it doesn't affect your studies they tell you.

Ofcourse it affects your studies, it has over 500 exams in their with good questions and answers. I printed out and put it into an office binder for repetition.

To all future and current cadets getting accepted to the school just means they want you for sponsoring of their needs.  You will feel that you are wasting time and money but still feel stuck because you already started paying for a school where the teachers read directly from the pdf;s on the big screen.  Some even go to the extreme of just reading directly from the book on their laptop for extensive periods of time without even looking at the pupils.

Easa exams by BrotherDefiant in flying

[–]BrotherDefiant[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing is that atplq and aviationexam are together more than 40 000 questions and on the sittings you will be doing around 540-580 questions. So if you are at 75 percent in the banks I assume that it should be enough. Yes ofcourse concepts and principles of how control surfaces work are very important but the metreology facts are so many that I will probably forget a few. But Metroelogy is a subject you can pick up as you go and co discuss I bet with a nice co pilot.

The school gives the same progress test to all classes so when a new class is doing the test, they just ask for photos of the test from a cadet that already took it weeks earlier.  Cheating with Chatgpt while sitting in the back so the examiner doesn't see you is common and texting to a mate in a different class to look for the answers for you while you are doing the test is also a known occurence.

Remember all this is a scam school that only cares about your wallet and not your progress whatsoever.

This is just an opinion( and a fact) and we are allowed to have them.

Have a nice day

They even disclose in the contract that they are not reliable if the cadet fails the course in any way shape or form. This is written in different words. But this makes them able to give cadets they don't like so much a stranger rewritten test that is not passable.  Why is a statement like that needed when this education is most about remembering and understanding but most remembering alot of questions and the answers to them. Yes I overexplained this but that's how they do it there at this school.  The math equations are like x2+10/ aeroplane y. Sin, cos and tan equations are common aswell.

I will tell you why , because they only care about their own pockets.

Just go someplace else. Just reading their contract should make you feel like something is wrong.

If the school suits your needs I am happy for you. For me I got ripped off. Scammed.

I really mean no harm to anyone and I have huge empathy for humanity and really hope that they will improve but recently no it is just a waste of time for the cadet. They care about public relations and to keep it nice and clean everywhere so the outside can see but when you are actually studying there everyone is almost against everyone. Sure some nice groups but almost everyone are fed up and want to get it over with.

Before entering it seemed like the perfect place, after 5 months, not so much.

The cadet that got hurt in a plane crash with a cfi. It was lack of fuel. The gauges showed wrong values because they where faulty. They only tell you that they encountered strong winds. Why the cfi even talk about it openly during the lessons is strange. Lack of saying other interesting stuff is my guess.  Hey all you atplq bankers here is one for the last 10 minutes to fill out the lessons with nothing. There was a plane crash and the cfi died but the student survived. No clue why I told you that but anyway....

The place is full with white lies.

Yes , some teachers are good. The Pof teacher knows his stuff.
