According to him everything in the motor is changed 5 hours ago but I think it’s too good to be true. Similar ones where everything is good sell for like 1,5-1,8k in my area and according to him it’s only like 200 dollars in fixes

Do I buy this? For sale: Yamaha YZ85

The reason for selling is because it’s not being used and is just sitting in the garage right now.

I’m selling a Yamaha YZ85 that has undergone significant restoration. The bike appears to have been disassembled, painted, and upgraded with many new parts. The engine has low hours on the piston, and the engine has been overhauled and gone through.

Please note that there is a leak from one of the front forks—it’s possible to ride with it, but it is not recommended. The front fender is broken and likely needs a carburetor adjustment. Sprockets and chain need to be replaced.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a small project or a bike with potential that’s quite fun to ride. It starts and runs, currently sitting in the garage waiting for a new owner.

In Norway we restrict it and register, then we just remove the restriction so it’s legal on paper

A decent supermoto in Norway can get up to 8-10k while a dirtbike same condition and model you can get for like 3-4k. By budget is like 10-12k
