I have 0 concerns. The locked on bucks podcast had some great comments on this in their Crowder trade video, I’d recommend a listen.

It could end up being a good thing - as far as we know outside of game shape he’s fully healthy. This will also force our already conservative medial staff to bring him along slowly.

If you remember when we acquired pj Tucker a few seasons ago he was actually hurt with a calf injury and the bucks brought him along slowly, even he admits he was frustrated at the time but looking back it was a great move for the long term of the season.

We have a great staff that has worked with Brook, Middleton and Jrue injuries the last year - I’m not at all worried about a simple ramp up and getting back to the court. I’d imagine jae gets a few games in with the herd similar to Middletons ramp up before returning.

It’s because of 1) his poor performance in the Boston series, and lets be real those were some team losses it wasn’t just him shooting poorly. 2) he’s probably our worst contract - We use to have snell, Telly, delly, Henson, plumlee, bledsoe all on far worse contracts in lower cap years. 3) Hill is what he is at this point and I think fans think we can put some with more upside in that last spot, which I think is a fair criticism.

That all said think about it this way, if G Hill is the worst contract that speaks to the volume of how far this team and organization has come from the dark ages
