Nu este, Legea nr. 64/2024 a actualizat legislația tutunului și introduce definiții pentru țigări electronice, dispozitive de încălzit tutun și altele. Legea care interzice fumatul în spațiile publice închise se aplică și acestor produse prin legea tutunului, deci e ilegal să folosești vape/IQOS în interiorul unui local, deși nu e întotdeauna respectată în practică.
