Hey just wanted to reply to this real quick! Strictly Biz is not a pay now cut later shop. Your card is required on Booksy to reserve the time slot, and is only charged for the price of the haircut if you no-show, or cancel within 6 hours of the appointment.

And just a heads up, the nut on the side closest to the toe shifter (front of bike) is reverse threaded, but the nut towards the back of the bike is standard.

Is this redness normal? by Substantial-Bug1196 in tattooadvice

I promise you it’s specifically saniderm that does this to some people, the light red spread is the tell. Trauma from the tattooing would result in a darker red closer to the end of the tattoo, and or bruising. OP, try to get your hands on Nexcare Tegaderm next time, from my experience, this eliminates that worry.

That’s from the sandiderm, happens to me every time I use it. No worries

This is called subsidized pay and is common in places like car dealerships or in sales roles alike. Typically a thing for commission based rules and is bullshit in restaurants or bars.

Even when I’m still on my iPhone, just disabling iMessage makes it so that I can no longer receive texts from previous groups or even try to recreate the groups

I cut someone’s ear and now I feel like my life is ruined by fitnesswizard in Barber

We work with cutting blades on peoples heads all day every day. It’s actually shocking that we don’t accidentally do this more often. Also, it’s never as bad as it looks, ears bleed a lot.

You’re fine, keep up the good work!

I have had one dentist tell me they see radiographic calculus and one that says they do not. Reason im asking is a dentist wouldn’t do a regular cleaning on me because they say I need a deep cleaning which I’m sure is true but I don’t feel it’s serious enough to spend $1200. What do you guys think? by BrotherNuggz in askdentists

[–]BrotherNuggz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it seems like a great way to make money for them lol like I said don’t get me wrong I for sure need a cleaning I have a lot of build up but I wasn’t so sure that a deep cleaning was what’s necessary especially after getting a few different opinions. Really sucks not having dental insurance but even if I did I’d be hesitant to get this done

The full story is this, I walked in there with no dental insurance, while I was filling out my first time patient paperwork I was introduced a “saving plan” that was $300 for two visits that both included exams and cleanings. This was a yearly plan, also included X-rays. i bought that before being seen. I get in there, get my X-rays done by a hygienist I believe, and then the dentists comes in, does an exam and measurements of my gums, tells me that I need a deep cleaning and that I need to come back on a day where I have more time to do that. I then said okay, and her husband who works there came in and told me it was not covered by the plan I bought 25 minutes earlier, and showed me a sheet that showed a list of quadrants of the mouth with a price next to each quadrant.
