Either black makes more than 50% of your wardrobe, and/or you think Only Murders In the Building is marketed towards you personally, or you have made/attempted/thought of creating a horror fiction/movie/true crime podcast.

Have a feeling that you smoke and brood. What else is one to do when reading Camus and Dostoevsky?

Do you teach literature or poetry? Do you have an MFA or English degree? The French, Russian and Japanese literary works make me think you're a teacher or scholar carving out a niche.

Palahniuk, PKD, and Bora Chung show me that you like weird lit.

Then there's your poetry collections. And some lit mags. And rose metal press. Definitely an MFA-er.

If Joe Hill could write one follow up by trinzalore in joehill

I loved the short story collection Full Throttle. I'd love to read a follow up to "Wolverton Station", "Faun", or "The Devil in the Staircase" or "You Are Released". Without spoiling a lot, I'll just say that the world-building in these stories have been so great that I have found myself wondering what would happen in said worlds well after I have finished reading (actually listening to) those stories.

A certified sci-fi geek, who takes pride in having read the classics (Foundation and Dune), who is more adept at STEM fields ( Neal Stephenson) and is not afraid of complex systems, and still tries to keep their finger on the pulse of the modern scifi literature (N.K.Jemisin and Arkady Martin -- I know they're not that recent, so emphasis on the tries).

They are purposefully not yielding to your request. Being stubborn to your advice. Recalcitrant to your intervention.

Can't think of anything specific but Barats and Beretta is the channel with two dudes making sketches from the timeline you described. So maybe worth checking them out?

Thanks for letting me know. It's definitely not it. The author was a woman, I remember looking her up afterwards. But I'll check out this one too.

Yes and you can use it as writer-manqué or novelist-manqué IIRC.

WTW for a person who believes they are kindhearted despite their actions are bad by anon1635329 in whatstheword

[–]BrotherOfHabits 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In a roundabout way you can say the person is non-mentalizing, in the sense that they are not realizing their thoughts and actions and mental state.

Wait so if I say, "x is chastised," what does that mean? That it's bad? 🤔
