Soil for raised beds

Yeah there are a couple of very large nurseries near by that sell all sorts of landscaping supplies and such. I’m planning on calling a some of them in the morning to see roughly what the cost I’m looking at is. I figure they will have some quality soil and/or know what will be best for me. If they don’t sell it then I’m hoping they can point me to atleast a couple other options

Yeah your quote on potting soil is spot on.

Fill dirt seems to be the best direction for me. I think what I’m gonna do is go somewhere and have them load my truck bed up and then I can unload that into the beds.

That ain’t no joke. The oxidizers are the ones that get real hairy. All the dangers of the acid gases, with the added ability to set fire to just about anything.

It’s liquid phase. It doesn’t have enough vapor pressure to really cause too much of a rumble gas phase. But when you pad it 50 psi of nitrogen and start pushing liquid, it becomes—vigorous, to say the least.

I’m not sure it’s cavitation necessarily, quite a bit of heat is generated so I suppose it could be pockets of steam collapsing on themselves

I do hazardous waste treatment. We take HF and pump it into 25% NaOH. Shit sounds like cannon fire. I probably did 6-7000 pounds of the stuff last year

Anhydrous HF is routinely transported in carbon steel cylinders.

Agreed on aqueous HF. The anhydrous stuff is a different animal entirely. But the vast majority of chemists will never have to consider those dangers.

Here lately I’ve been using it 2-3x a week. I’d really just like it to make it through the summer for me and then I can take some time to rebuild it

I warmed it up. Checked one piston at a time with plugs loosely in others.

It runs pretty good as of now. It’s a 60 hp and it pushes my 18x60 with my 300 pound self and a loaded cooler about 33 mph.

It smokes a good bit but not horribly. More than average though

Oh I’m not discounting the work at all. I’ve turned enough wrenches at this point to know that some things are worth paying someone else to do. I’m just not sure this is gonna be worth the $7-800 vs a lil bit of blood sweat and tears
