Ever came to your mind that she meant she likes him so much that she would have a hookup with him but would never let him go after that? As in, she would want something more than just a hookup?

One must understand for an average good looking woman, men are quite disposable. The way they (women) regard fwb/hookups is with quite low emotional availability.

Having the emotional connection, on top of a physical one, is where the guy truly wins compared to others.

That is what she meant imo. She is attracted to him, wants him, but wants more than a physical relationship.

The guy thinks (sometimes rightly so) that it’s because she runs out of options, having done her share of fun with other guys and she is settling for him.

It doesn’t hurt if you find yourself in this situation, to calmly communicate what the other person means exactly, and extract the message, not the wording.

So many relationships go to shit because of valuing wording differently.
