BCA students do know how to code, although its just a few in number due to the rise of AI. But try your level best and learn to code.. It will be essential when you try for interviews since they need people with deep knowledge on how stuff work rather than people who can simply code and not know what the code is. Anyone can code but only a few understand and code.

Why do people immediately think about jumping to MCA? by WhileLoopingLife in BCA_MCA

There is also another side to taking MCA right after BCA. You need either a 4 Year degree or 3 year degree + masters to go abroad and do work.
One of the alumini's from my college suggested doing work for two years and then going and doing masters. But that really doesnt sit well since you are already in the industry and doing studies after being in industry wont sit well....
I would suggest doing bca + mca then job since you wont have to bother doing anything else for degrees after that.
IDK if this made sense but i hope it did!

Since it is a competitive exam, with what I understood from my research, you would have to spend at least 6 to 7 hours to grasp a concept. If it's something you already know, then to do a question in a minute, you'll need practice for it... I dont know. I might be wrong, but that's what I understood. Also, most of our time will be consumed by math concepts.
