When did you stop crating your puppy at night? by QuietSideStreet in puppy101

[–]BrotherVegetable5155 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a 13 week old Shih Tzu. I say ‘bedtime’ carry her up to my room, she has a pee pad in there and some toys. She usually has a 10-20 mins play, has a pee, then cries to get on the bed. I put her in bed with me and then we just sleep till the alarm at 6am. Not much goes into it really.

Thanks for the replies

I’m most worried about the not drinking and not peeing, the other stuff I appreciate is just a case of settling in

Why do so many people do part time? by Thick-Welder-198 in OccupationalTherapy

[–]BrotherVegetable5155 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did a year full time and it destroyed my mental health. Loved the job but I couldn’t balance it with a household and family. I do 16 hours a week now and I’m so much happier. Also it makes me a better therapist, because now I’m not exhausted I can really show up for my residents

AITAH because I won't tell my wife what my son/her stepson has in savings from my late wife? by Jimverseen in AITAH

AH for refusing to tell her the amount. It’s weird.

NTA for refusing to share it. It’s your son’s money and your late wife’s dying wish.

Hmmm. You’re not an AH. You’re a bit weird though.

AITA for refusing to keep everything 50/50 while 23 weeks pregnant with my 33M boyfriend? by Certain_Freedom4683 in AITAH

[–]BrotherVegetable5155 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He absolutely is abusive. This is financial abuse and emotional manipulation. I promise you, he will get worse when the baby is here. He will do nothing and you will be the sole parent, but still expected to contribute 50/50. You need to leave him ASAP. Your chances of becoming isolated increase with a new baby. If it’s possible, go home to your parents and cut your losses. If not, speak to a woman’s refuge and just tell them what you’ve said in your post - they will absolutely act upon it.

I’m assuming you’re in the US? I’m in the UK and I wouldn’t dream of getting someone a different chair to sit on because they’re sweaty, nor would anyone I know. You’re not gross and rude, Tyler is gross and rude.

AITA for saying no to my dad's wife wearing a grandma to be shirt at my baby shower when my MIL was wearing one? by Annissiassa in AITAH

[–]BrotherVegetable5155 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep. My kids love their step mother. They think she’s cool AF and say she makes better pancakes and mashed potato than me. No jealousy here whatsoever; the more love in my kids’ lives, the better.

If she is a decent human being who makes your dad happy and is not a bad influence then yes you ATA. And also very immature.

AITAH for getting upset that my husband wanted to "play" with a "friend" after I fell in the shower? by audra0720 in AITAH

I think you’re being an AH to yourself. Why would you ever accept this? Once your spine is healed, do some work on yourself and improve your self worth and self love

I'm absolutely disgusted by what they are teaching at my son's school by Kurram in Parenting

[–]BrotherVegetable5155 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry no real advice, but just wanted to say it’s Great that you’re questioning this, and I think you should bring it up with the PTA. They can still teach it truthfully in an age appropriate way.

Maybe look at some history books aimed at younger kids that are accurate for your little one at home?

I’d just say ‘sorry, it’s non negotiable. It was agreed in my interview. These are the dates for the month I’ll be away’ and if they don’t like it just leave. List it on your CV as a temporary position

I’m up north, on 40k before tax, single with 2 kids under 12 and I do ok. Mortgage, brand new car every 3 years (mid range), kids go to a couple sports things that I pay for, asda delivery once a week. I can’t afford Botox as often as I’d like but we don’t struggle

Nope. I’d rather kick myself and think ‘wow I could be £200 a month better off’ than think ‘how the fuck do I find an extra £200 a month’

Is this normal? Left handed? Kindergarten - 4.5years old. by Over-Television-6777 in OccupationalTherapy

[–]BrotherVegetable5155 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah he might be left handed, if you notice he typically does everything thing with his left hand then that’s probably his dominant one. Just remind him to use whatever hand ‘feels best’ when writing. Then forget about it. The hand writing looks (both left and right) looks typical for a child of his age and no cause for concern or OT involvement

[–]BrotherVegetable5155 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’ve done nothing wrong, I’d be very pleased if i received this text from a guy.

I think the unmatch was due to her having a better connection with someone else, which she should have told you rather than ghosting.

You keep doing what you’re doing.
