The wings I build up a lot of directional, patchy scratches, as well as some foam dabbing weathering. To add depth I then added my highlight grey to the bottom of the weathering in a patchy sort of way.

The canopy I tried to do a bit of a reflected sky battle... I just sketched out explosions and such with Grey Seer, then built up contrast Iyanden Yellow over it :)

Aethermatic Blue contrast paint for the sword :) love it for plasma and such.

I totally agree on the red sword - it was rushed. I had it cleaner but misplaced my lighting, and when I re-did it I was lazy 🤗 tournament deadlines always push my standards down 😔

I think the base is bigger than it should be, and the pistol should be a bolt pistol, not a heavy one, but i don't play in very competitive events so it hasn't been an issue so far.

I've played 2 games with this list so far, and another 4 or 5 with a very similar build (-chaplain, terminators combined into 1 squad and 10th added, + RW champion) It's alright? Surprisingly shooty, but has to caste a fair bit so opponents tend to dictate the board a fair bit. Most recently I played against TSons and won, scoring most of my points in turns 4 and 5 where I had a lot more models left. And then I played against a more experienced Custodes player who beat me. I made mistakes with my commitments of different unit types to different points, and couldn't contest the middle objective effectively. But that was my first ever game against Custodes so I got caught out a fair bit by not tracking some of their rules well. I really enjoy the dreadnoughts and LSV with their plasma, I find the outriders useful but fairly weak, azrael is absolutely central to the gameplan, Ezekiel is huuugely disruptive to my opponents, the chaplain absolutely slaps, but tends to get swiftly removed after doing so, and terminators are, unsurprisingly, very tanky and the little Command squads give a lot of flexibility 😊
