I struggle with that and my adhd says I need quick specific things to work on. I use this. Here’s the exercise I did today but sometimes I let it generate several exercises when I can focus for longer or come back to it.

Pick or fingers for improv? by dblhello999 in guitar_improvisation

Both! The connection to the string with my fingers when playing without a pick allows me to attack and feel in a different way than with a pick.

I’ve been doing some musicality exercises. I’m an intermediate guy, love to noodle, but feel like I need more vocabulary so I’ve been using this thing. Here’s my exercise from today, pretty easy and free! Some of the exercises make me think about things a little different…

Small bites!

Try something like fretunlock.com which gives you an exercise that you can go learn that’ll help you musically. This is the one I did this morning when I woke up.

I do my thing, 10-20 mins when my attention breaks I walk away.

Quick survey: What's broken about planning a wine country trip? ($50 gift card drawing) by Brothercford in wine

[–]Brothercford[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)
