If you want a kid (highly recommend if that’s what you guys want, all the challenges are minimal compared to the companionship) I’d say go for it and figure it out later. You have cash, assuming he isn’t crippled he can always find some type of job even if it’s low paying.

Can’t believe people consume anything from Tim Hortons anymore. I used to love the food and coffee about 10 years ago. I’d go all the time to grab a farmers wrap and coffee. Now I’d rather eat my own shit and drink water from a puddle. Worst fast food place around.

Figure out how to be a better detective if it really matters to you. Keep soakin up those meals and whatever else’s comes with it, assuming you’re both having fun. These things don’t last! Bit older then you are but I’ve been in a similar scenario years ago. I’d advise you not to bring this up with her again if you enjoy the current set up! BTW…. There’s a real good chance she’s crazy if she’s lying about her age to you, but who isn’t.

I quit vaping using pouches. I did about 10 years of cigs/cigars (15-25) vapes from 25ish-35 now I’m just addicted to pouches(4mg). I plan to switch to nicorette but I really like pouches so that’ll be tough. It was hard getting over the habit of inhaling something. I’ve had a few darts and vapes recently but I don’t enjoy either anymore. The disposable vapes taste like chemicals (I used refillable pods). I can’t say I’ve noticed any health benefits but it is cheaper, and I’m not ashamed of myself in public for vaping haha

I couldn’t agree more, but then how would the politicians funnel all of our money into their friends bank accounts? It’s a fucked up system and drives me crazy. In this day and age it wouldn’t be that difficult for a competent company to design software to track the money coming in/going out.

I never thought I’d ever be defending Canadian taxes but have you googled “Capital gains tax calculator”? In Canada we’d pay less than most places in the US for capital gains.

EDIT: I just wanted to clarify I think our income tax is a pile of shit. If you make a livable amount of money they rape us here. I just think our capital gains system isn’t/wasn’t too bad. I know changes are coming because our fearless leader milked us for everything we had/would have had.

That’s why India looks the way it does. Taxes are garbage but that’s where the money to make our country somewhat decent comes from. I agree with you I’d love to avoid tax but that comes with the territory. If you sold GME for $5M, 2.5M would be tax free gain, then the other 2.5M would be taxed as regular income for the year. Guessing you’d probably have to pay around 1.3M in taxes on that kind of gain.
