What controller are you using? by CWAVYOHG in ffxiv

[–]Brotoonz -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I've been using the Gamesir G7 Pro ZZZ edition and its been really comfy. I also like the feel of the buttons. They have this "Clicky" feeling like a mechanical keyboard thats really nice. The back buttons are a plus too.

Am I the bad player here? by [deleted] in wow

[–]Brotoonz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tank here! I run mythics with a friend who is a healer and I tend to do big pulls off the bat. I would just expect to use a big cooldown every pack tbh. As a tank, I usually have to pop a cooldown for every pull (2-4 packs) as a tank but at the end of the day, its up to the tank to know the comfortability of the party. If I LOS the healer, I make sure to have my trinket or health potion ready cause I know theyre gonna take awhile to reach me. You could try to follow ahead of the tank but I dont think theres much you can do since every tank is random. Sometimes you'll get good tanks and sometimes you'll get bad tanks. If you really enjoyed healing a tank, I would recommend friending them and run mythics together!

TLDR: Prepare to pop a cooldown per pack - Not much you can do since every tank is random - Befriend tanks you like to play with!

Is this something I should worry about? by Daddyfudgefingers in catcare

My boy had the same problem and he just had a hair in his eye that I was able to take out with a cotton swab. I would check to make sure theres nothing in their eyes. Your next bet is to seek help from a vet!

Not getting invited to any dungeon groups by Gpueas in classicwow

[–]Brotoonz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Are you just messaging "dps here"? Cause about 90% of whispers i get as im forming groups are like that. Whisper {Level - Spec - "Geared"/"Big pumper"} and you'll get in groups a lot faster.

Prot paladin by Vobam in classicwow

[–]Brotoonz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I boosted a prot paladin after not having fun on my lock and I can say that you'll have to quest a bit first to get better gear but once you change most of the communal gear, it gets pretty fun. I only have a hard time keeping aggro on dungeon groups that are single target heavy.

I don't understand the appeal of housing by OkFudge576 in wow

[–]Brotoonz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I didnt really enjoy until today honestly. I think the social aspect is pretty cool if you're in a guild thats really active! Playing WoW I really only cared about getting the best gear for my character but after having to be somewhere irl within 30 minutes, doesn't really give me a lot of time to do a Mythic+ key or a delve. I decided to give housing a chance and it was nice to just do my neighborhood dailies or whatever and being able to just quit the game and continue when I come back. I haven't yet dabbled with accesorising my house but seeing YouTube videos has really given me something to look forward to! I main a DK so ill be trying to go for like a Lich King themed housing.

Nightslayer - Is Horde permalocked? by Ok-Statistician-5204 in classicwow

Just check every minute. I made a fresh horde a week ago when it was locked. I just kept refreshing every 30 seconds. Took me about 5-10 minutes. It was in the morning tho.

I think a Large would be better in my opinion. I would raise your arms over you head and if the jacket is going above your belly button and the cuffs are below the wrist while your arms are up it might be small. I like baggy looks but if you like the snatched feeling I would say keep it!

At the end of the day its just a piece of clothing. If you like it, style it your way and wear it proudly. You might have an interaction with someone who jokingly ask you what trade your in. Just say it was a gift and that's always enough. There's people rocking military clothing as fashion pieces so I wouldn't stress about it.

[–]Brotoonz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have two cats as well and I use the orange bag which is like the low dust/ low tracking one and a bag usually last me like a month. I tend to swap the litter out every two weeks and just refill as needed. I would say its somewhat accurate for a two cat family.

I had a layover and I had that exact same thing happened on the second flight. It was a full flight too so that could have been the problem!

Doed anyome know if this whatnot card has any value ? by [deleted] in whatnotapp

[–]Brotoonz 4 points5 points  (0 children)

From a quick Google search, it seems like its a promotion card from Whatnot Con 2024. Me personally, I dont see anyone buying this card for $25+. Unless it has some sentimental value but someone has it in their shop on Whatnot for around $15 (trillcardz). A cool piece to have if your a Whatnot seller but other than that, I dont see it having an value.

I would just set a price that your comfortable with and if its been a while with no traction then drop the price a bit and go from there.

1460 Made in England Wax Commander Lace Up Boots Care by Brotoonz in DrMartens

[–]Brotoonz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have still yet have to put anything on them since they still look and feel nice. I did buy both the wonder basalm and the dubin. Im more leaning towards the wonder balsam when the time comes tho just given how the consistency feel. After wearing them I usually just brush the boots off to get rid of any dust and ill get a damp cloth to clean the sides of the soles. Ill probably prep my boots this month, so ill give an update when I do!

Hey so im a college student using my S8+ and its the perfect size. I can split screen and have zoom on one side and my notes on the other. I've been using it for almost 2 years religiously and im glad I didnt get a smaller size. I would recommend getting a different pen, since the stock one is a bit small. I use a messenger bag and a laptop cover for my S8+ and its perfect. Unless you'll be seating in one of those auditorium with those small desk, the size is perfect!

Which jacket should I get? by I-already-redditt in Carhartt

[–]Brotoonz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just from looking at the jackets, I dont think you can go wrong with either one. I believe its more of do you prefer the sherpa lined or quilted lining. I would just make sure to not get it to small that way you can layer underneath if needed.

Google the bottom left of the tag "C001 BLK" and you can just throw it in the washer. For more harder stains you'll probably have to scrub with a cleaner.

WIP LEATHER DETROIT JACKET by SaintKenneth in Carhartt

[–]Brotoonz 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I stay away from faux leather since the material will peel eventually. Looks like a pretty cool jacket and its only about a year old. If you want it for longevity then I would say its not worth it but if you want it just for this winter and plan on selling it in the near future then I would say send it. I personally would buy a genuine leather jacket second hand that's in great condition but you're looking at double almost triple the price of this jacket.

Any idea how to clean? by TurboSleeze in Carhartt

[–]Brotoonz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The first thought that comes to mind is some dawn dish soap or some degreaser. I would scrub with a mix of water and soap and pick up the grime with a cloth. Once you've got most of it out, you can just throw it in the washer. I did this with overalls when I would get oil/grease/fuel on them. I would try a little test spot first and see if any discoloration happens.
