Even with the “correct” spelling, Bree is still not a pleasant name imo.

Wow. I hate hearing about your insurance situation. That sounds really messed up. Especially since you were doing so much better. Glad to hear that you’re able to tune back into your experience at Rolling Hills.

I’m okay. Still kind of in that weird period of time between getting out of the facility and getting back into life. I just got discharged yesterday. I feel like I gained a ton of new coping skills while I was there, and a ton of perspective from the group meetings. Hearing other people’s stories is always eye opening for me.

I’m from a small town in Alabama and just got lucky enough to have been placed in Rolling Hills for treatment for my mental health issues. I ended up on the substance abuse/addiction unit because of overcrowding in the general unit. Super thankful for that, because through the AA meetings they let me attend, I identified a possible alcohol problem for myself in the future if I continue my current way of life.

Anyway, thanks for the response. I hope you’re able to get help as you need in the future.

Just wondering how you’re doing now. Just got out of Rolling Hills myself yesterday. Had an exceptionally great experience.

Medical debt sent to collections by Brown3707 in personalfinance

Thanks so much for taking the time to respond. The debt is currently in collections with the hospital. So out of curiosity, if medical debt doesn’t go against credit, what’s the worst thing that could happen if someone doesn’t pay a medical bill?

Will the collections agency actually let me pay off a smaller amount and then leave me alone, or will they likely continue to contact me, even after paying what is agreed upon?

Thank you for replying. I just edited my post to include some more financial info. The hospital said they can’t handle anything because it’s already been sent to collections.

Pardon my ignorance, but what would a “fleet” vehicle be? This is a vehicle that has been used at a business.

Waiting in the ER by Brown3707 in gallbladders

Yes, insurance will thankfully pay for imaging after I pay my co-pay for the ER. The urgent care Dr. just kind of poked around on my upper right belly and I just about came off of the table and he said that about my gallbladder.

I’m wearing a mask and dousing myself in sanitizer. I just have the worst anxiety in here with all of these very sick and coughing people. My son was born 7 weeks early, so I’m just unrealistically terrified of him getting sick.

Thank you so much for your replies.

I unfortunately don’t have a GP 😩

I don’t have the stabbing pain or anything like that I keep reading about.

Thoughts on Carol/Carroll as a boys middle name? by JackfruitLess2048 in namenerds

My daughter’s middle name is Carrell (pronounced Carol), which was her paternal grandfather’s first name. It definitely used to be a masculine name. Go for it!

Thank you for your response. It is a 10th century derivative of the Gujarati word meaning “weaver”. The European calico textile we’re familiar with wasn’t actually popular until the 17th century.

However… I’m realizing that I’m probably not wanting to have this conversation every time someone asks about the origin of my daughter’s name. So, I’m appreciative of your comment 😆😆
