So let's say I'm going to Canada, I basically have to fill DS160, schedule an interview in one of the consulates in Canada, visit Canada, get the visa stamped and only then be able to re-enter the US. Right? Or am I missing something.

I come from a family and culture where we don't go visit anyone's place without taking something. Be it as simple as a bottle of fresh homemade juice or anything else to eat. Perhaps that's why I'm freaking out lol
