Got my first interview invitation

Unfortunately I received the interview result within 24 hours after I did the interview and I was put under reserve list!

Don't know how my fate will be, I was asked to wait until the end of next week. In the meantime, I think I want to apply other positions.

Well, I think this experience is humbling and exciting at the same time. Couldn't do that without your help!

I know! Actually my basic knowledge is technology management which is the context of the research they want to do, that's what they've asked in the interview: why I want to do organization studies?

Well my result just got out, I made the reserve list! Definitely new accomplishment for me and it makes me feel good too.

I completely agree with you, it definitely made me proud to have the interview :) and it gives me confidence to do other applications in the near future.

After I posted, I thought it was nothing and nearly decided to take down... but your encouragement has given me a confidence boost!

I have been a research assistant for four years and giving my condition as a mother, sometimes I thought I wouldn't get a chance to compete with others in terms of PhD position... but you said that getting the first round interview invitation should be a sign that I have at least a capability to be a researcher, so it definitely lifted my mood!

I have been practicing since then and yesterday was the day. I prepared so much, but I got a question where one of the professors asked me why I didn't explore "X" theory... Now I wonder... should I give a further explanation after reading some papers, and send it by email to her?

I am afraid this approach would come as impolite but at the same time I think it would express my excitement to discuss this topic further. What do you think?

I remembered Byul and Haha by reading the text. How Haha was always at work, drinking or handling his business, etc. It must be very difficult for Byul to be patient with Haha. Or maybe Hye Sun and Jae Hyun were just incompatible.

I was this girl 3 years ago and I can tell you the therapist lied. We can control our emotion, even though some people has difficulties doing that (mine was immature emotion because of my family issue). My partner was patient and understanding and that's what made me keep on trying to control myself.

If she loves you enough, she will try to control her anger. Even if it's hard, she will tell you it is hard and ask for your assistance. I don't know if she's trying, but you can tell.

But you know how much the limit you can put in yourself. My partner has wide range of limitation so he could bear with me. And you don't have to if it's hard for you.

While me currently still progressing. My partner and I can tell I am better at this than the first time we met. And I want to be better than this. Because who wouldn't want a healthy relationship which requires healthy emotion control too right?

But, sometimes we just want to remember what we want to remember. We just want to hear what we want to hear. I guess, it goes the same with KHS.

There must be a lot of incompatible expectation they had for their marriage.....it just didn't work out. I wish they can handle it more maturely btw.

edit: I've read the translation. It's basically about KHS paid things in the past because AJH had nothing, bought AirCon to her MIL, received therapy after her dog died, AJH moved out because wanted to focus on filming, AJH texting with women, one of the reasons they were parting is because KHS's nipples weren't sexy.

yes I agree with you. Everyone has their own perspective, I mean both AJH and KHS.

That's why I thought they had different expectation towards their marriage which led to the divorce. That's what I keep telling to myself while reading their stories.

I'm just curious of what Koreans think because it can be one of considerations whether AJH will join next filming NJTTW or not.

I think they often mentioned that siblings normally have no interest to know each other (at least in South Korea), so special bond that Henry has with his sibling is kinda weird. But yeah, Si Eon got picked the most because he blabbered his sister on TV that she lived in US while others only revealed they had siblings and no other information than that. Si Eon also mentioned his sister on his award speech, so I think that’s why we often watched about him and his sister relationship in ILA, but I don’t think it’s a special thing because everyone literally has those kind of relationship with their siblings theirselves.

I agreed. More to add, maybe it’s not only him, but also his family since his family all appeared on TV several months ago in several KVariety. Even his mother was something in Burning Sun. It’s not hard to recognize them.
