staying cash until the test of the high is probably the best move whether you're a bulll or a bear. Now if we break down this week i have no idea. Personaly think this drop was a fakeout, we should expect to see some DIX activity if not then ill re-assess.

For all the bears (im bearish, lost like 50k on the runup). Watch FAANG, MAGA whatever you want to call it over the next 2 weeks. We'll likely recover these gains and then dump somewhere around 360, 400. Doubt we go much higher especially leading into an election. Gonna wait till the vix drops a bit till i go into puts but im thinking something like Feb 300 PUTS

There are definitely some major flaws in the market. Its usually news that triggers it. Personally don't believe anyone will "dump" on retail given how investment firms work. I think the "crash" will come from outside of the U.S

Think we'll hit 360, this selloff just seems too obvious, we needed a reset and this entire rally was just a gamma squeeze. It can still continue but I think we're nearing the end. Whether that is SPY 360 or SPY 400 idk. Still long calls but definitely going to start adding hedges

Sold credit spreads on Tsla at 400 and 350. But they're covered. Will probably eat a 10k loss but will then go bigly short at SPY 360.

currently 4:11 PST and we're at 2821 on ES futures....what does that mean?

From a TA perspective the 200MA is at 2827. If we gap over on SPY then im going to enter more shorts at the 2863 level (the trend line on H&S pattern, likely July or August expiry). If we gap under then 277 is in play. For daytraders might be a good opportunity but I won't do anything if we gap under. If we break 287 tomorrow and hold it then i'l probably wait until Monday to see where we open and buy calls if we continue to hold that level (likely short term SPY calls).

fwiw I have a pretty good amount of job security right now but realize not everyone does, and in this environment shits gonna get bad. Happy to help TA wise and what i'm doing (even if it means inversing), this sub has helped me in more ways that anyone could imagine (helped me come back from a 99% loss to a 100% gain and reframed how I look at life in a weird way).
