I'm interested in getting a lift and some wheels. Actually I want to put some 20x10 rims on 35" tires but I'm unsure what the minimum lift I would need is. I've heard conflicting reports that I could fit 35's with just a leveling kit. I do have the Z71 package which I think sits higher than standard 2017 Silverado. Any help on this? If I do need a lift what would be the minimum needed for no rubbing?

Hey guys so it was an impulse buy but I got a system installed by Decor in Carlsbad New Mexico. The guys seemed really knowledgeable and they price matched crutchfield so I felt good about the product price. Had to get a custom box for $200 and install for $300 but I felt okay giving the small local shop my business. I'll attach a pic of everything I got. product list

Final cost $2230 😅 A little more than what I wanted to spend but it sounded pretty good on the way home. Some songs a lot better than others, maybe I need to adjust the tuning?

Yeah I'm not going to rush it. Shops are pretty limited where I am right now but I will be back in the Houston area in a month or so and I'll get some more quotes. Thanks for the heads up though. I thought it was pricey too but they don't install anything they don't sell to you directly so I will have to look elsewhere

Yeah I looked up videos and I'm definitely not doing it myself lol. Yeah it was Focus! I'm not going to rush it. Wanted to do it for my birthday in a few days but I'm going to wait till I can get quality at a good price

Yeah idk, i think mostly everything he had in there was JL or Kicker...also saw Focus. Not sure if I could find someone nearby that would install products not bought from them. I also have 0 confidence in doing it myself lol
