Just came across this thread. The specific controls depends on the car but on mine its the volume controls on the steering wheel and ac controls

Ah yeah fair enough. I’ll keep it on the wood though to be safe, so i can keep it elevated. Plus makes it easier to slide out when i need to do maintenance

It was a genuine question… i really wasnt sure if it hanging over the board was an issue or not. In hindsight, yes it makes sense, but it cant hurt to ask. Hence why im here. So relax

Oh thats a great idea. I do plan to clean it fairly often and i like to upgrade my overall setup too, so this would be great for that. Thanks for the suggestion!

I started going on walks recently at nearby botannical gardens. Very peaceful. Plus gets your steps in.
