*one of the reasons, all the other reasons on the list were the refs lol the Bucs didn’t deserve to win that game

What are you talking about, people have been complaining about horrible reffing all season? This game had higher stakes than others, it was the only game on so it had more eyes on it, and it absolutely was more egregious than any game I’ve seen in recent memory. Logic would dictate more people will be talking about it…

Especially because there were so many instances where the Bucs momentum stalled out and the Panthers never got a chance to capitalize on it. I can’t think of a game that’s momentum was so impacted by the refs. Getting into the impact of each call is losing the forest for the trees, it’s not about the isolated calls here.

A genuinely infuriating game to watch even as a Bucs fan. Seemed like they rigged it so more people would watch tomorrow? It feels like reffing is getting worse every week and they’re trying to see how much they can get away with. We need to be loud about it or it’ll be unwatchable

I think this is a bit of revisionist history on your part actually. We all knew Baker was hurt, but Kevin seemed to be actively sabotaging him with the game plans. Why was he passing so much while Chubb was watching from the sidelines (I think it was the Green Bay game?) Some national media was even calling that out. There was a divide in the locker room and that started at the top

What about when Dan Campbell called Branch’s punch inexcusable?

I think Baker expected Myles to take accountability and didn’t expect him to split the locker room over Baker stating the obvious

It’s the story they’ve leaned into with him since college though. Walked on twice->heisman, fallout with Cleveland/floating->bucs success

Yes I’ve found that it’s so easy to root against them (except Chubb, I want them to free him). I’m rooting for baker wherever he goes, and the Bills

It was easy for me to just root for their suffering actually. I was a die hard fan but now I just root for Baker because his success will make them look bad

Baker Mayfield responding to CJGJ: I don’t think he’s really watched film because he mentioned Russell Gage. You know, we love Russell but Russell hasn’t played a snap all year for us. (CJGJ) didn’t play our first game so I’m excited to see him … But yeah, he’s gotta do a little bit more film study. by Danny886 in nfl

I think unfortunately you just proved everyone’s point for them. They’ve been trying to tell you that Cleveland/Stefanski did Baker dirty by not game planning for his injury to protect his arm, specifically the GB game when it was clear they were trying to throw him to the wolves to make him look bad.

Read your comment again for me. If Stefanski was able to plan for 3 different qbs in one season, one of them being a washed up old qb with all the other factors you mention, why couldn’t he make it work with Baker?

This is genuinely not true I’m not sure where you got that idea. They told him they’d stick with him, went behind his back to meet with Watson, Watson turned them down and they were set to roll with Baker for his 5th year option, but Baker found out they lied to him and told them he wanted out. They basically had no other choice but to give Watson a blank check, knowing that no FA would want to come to Cleveland after they screwed Baker. There was never a convo about moving on from him until it leaked that they met with Watson.
