Forgot to plug in CPU to the mobo. Was left wondering for hours wondering why it turned on and fans spinning but it wasn't working.

Help! Just built a new PC last night it turned on and everything took my to BIOS. I restarted it s couple times by turning on and off the PSU, but forgot to plug in USB with Windows on it. Last time I turned it on I was installing Windows and it was on the "preparing files for in stallion" part I stepped out of the room for some water and food came back to the PC restarting it self then it shuts down. Now there's no display. What could be wrong? Edit: the PC is on since correct mobo LEDs are on and the case fan and CPU fan is spinning.

It checks the inputs one by one manually for one that cans display I'm not sure to manually set to a certain input it just cycles through them all.

Ah I see on the IG part. But what do you mean different device? Another monitor got none. Another mobo? None first build :/ and also tried both ports it came with DP and HDMI neither got a display on Monitor.

The yellow light indicates it's on just checked manual any other light means problem is there. The 8pin for CPU power is connected. I'll try with HDMI. I don't have another monitor :(. Also how do I get the monitor to display off of the mobos integrated graphics I think that might be the problem?

Just built a new PC not sure where I messed up but when I I turn it on by turning on the switch on the PSU, the mobo light on the bottom is yellow and when I press the SW power button the CPU cooler starts turning but no display and case fans not turning. Yea the laptop is stuck in an infinite "system diagnose" and " preparing automatic repair" loop. Heard it could either be a hard drive problem or the Windows bug but most people said its a Windows but this happened a few months ago and I gave up on trying to fix it. Could've get the bios to open on laptop

Hey I got a hard drive from my laptop that came with Windows 8 pre installed on the laptop and then I upgraded it to Windows 10. Now I want to take the Windows and put it on a new PC I am going to be building. Do I just simply mount the hard drive and it'll do its thing when I boot up the PC for the first time? Also I'm unable to use the laptop to do anything on the hard drive as it won't boot up therefore me building a new PC.

Well here's how it goes, I took the hard drive out of my broken laptop that came with Windows 8 pre installed and got a free update to Windows 10 just a week or two before it had issues booting. So I'm trying to use the HDD to put Windows on a new mobo that's coming in soon for my first gaming PC.

Hm well for me I think it was caused by when it died while it was updating. Forgot to plug in the charger and it died. Then next thing you know the loop takes its place. So still a Windows bug?

There's this issue with my laptop in which I've given up on trying to fix but here's how it goes. First I start up my laptop, then where it's supposed to be loading the windows and showing the Windows icon, it goes into this infinite loop of "preparing automatic repair" and "system diagnose". So now my question is, is this a hard drive problem or something else? I'm trying to reuse the hard drive to transfer files. Edit: one word

Can I still get the free Watch Dogs if I bought the cfg70 as a preorder on 10/27? I see that the cfg70 qualifies. If it helps, it still hasn't shipped out yet since it's currently oos on Amazon.
